  • Pistachio Milk Cake| Pistachio Tresleches cake| Tree leches cake
    A super soft and light and pistachio sponge cake soaked in pistachio flavoured milk and topped with whipped cream. A must try for all the cake lovers out there. Do try , would love to hear your feedback ☺️.
    Ingredients:
    Pistachio sponge cake
    All purpose flour/ Plain flour-3/4 cup (100g)
    Unsalted pistachio-1/4 cup (35 g)Powder it with one teaspoon sugar.
    Baking Powder-1 teaspoon
    Egg-4 ( Large eggs at room temperature)
    salt-1/4 teaspoon
    Sugar -1/2 cup ( 100 g)
    vanilla essence-1 teaspoon
    Milk sauce:
    Condensed milk-1/2 cup (120 ml)
    Evaporated milk-1 cup (250 ml)
    Whipping cream or full fat milk-1/4 cup(60 ml)
    Topping:
    Whipping cream-1 cup
    Baking:
    Pan size:7X7 INCHES
    Baking time:
    Preheat the oven at 180c for 10 minutes. Bake the cake at 180c for 30 minutes.

    Note:
    1.Ribbon consistency is a term used to describe how well the egg sugar are beaten together.
    At the ribbon stage , When you lift the whisk form the mixture, a ribbon of the egg mixture will fall slowly and disappear into the mixture.

    Just made this recipe and it was so simple and delicious. Had the perfect amount of moisture. I like my tres leches cake to not be totally soggy out of the pan but still moist!

      Did you add any butter..mine came out a rubbery and dry for i didnt see where im to add butter..not sure what i did wrong then

      I didn't add any butter. Cake will be little dry so that it absorb the sauce well. Wondering what you mean by rubbery. Did you overmix the batter?

    How to get the cake thick and fluffy?also no matter i beat the egg and sugar for 30 minutes it does get that ribbon stage :(

    7x7 inch pan is quite a small vessel (compared to the pan shown in your video which looks larger and rectangular in shape. It makes a difference when pans are of incorrect size.

      I used 7X7 square baking pan. The measurements are also for a small cake.

    Question tho... Can I just separate egg yolks and whites? Might be easier to whisk egg whites and sugar alone then fold in the beaten yolks.or would that yield a different texture altogether?

      Try to bake on stove top, place the baking tray inside a large pan with a stand. Bake on low flame for 40 minutes.

    3/4 xícara (100g) Farinha multiuso / Farinha simples.
    Pistache sem sal 1/4 xícara (35 g)
    Acrescente uma colher de chá de açúcar junto com o Pistache sem sal. 1 colher de chá de Fermento em Pó.
    4 ovos grandes em temperatura ambiente.
    1/4 colher de chá de sal.
    1/2 xícara (100 g) de açúcar.
    1 colher de chá essência de baunilha
    Molho de 3 leites:
    Leite condensado - 1/2 xícara (120 ml)
    Creme de leite - 1 xícara (250 ml)
    Chantilly ou leite integral - 1/4 xícara (60 ml)
    Cobertura:
    Chantilly - 1 xícara
    Cozimento:
    Tamanho da forma: 7X7 POLEGADAS
    Tempo de cozimento:
    Pré-aqueça o forno a 180ºC por 10 minutos. Asse o bolo a 180ºC por 30 minutos.

    Is 7x7 the real pan size? That would be so so small in Germany. 18x18 cm is for 1-2 persons?

      7X 7 inches. You can use 7 or 8 inch round pan as well. It's fine.

      This cake will be Little dry, so for tres leches we use this sauce. It is good to use.

    I have a fan oven which gets really hot and cooks fast ... do I need to bake at lower temperature

      If you can turn off the fan, then bake without fan. Or else bake at a lower temperature. It depends on the oven settings.

      @@NaazsCookbook no I mean it’s a electric oven and it gets hot sooo fast. Last time I used the same temperature you said it over cooked and wasn’t soft... I need to lower the temp?

      @@afnankhalid6787 I also use electric. If it gets hot fast, try to bake at 160C. The temperature I mentioned is a normal temperature, for most of the oven it works fine.

      Try 25 and see. You said it's getting hot very fast. If not done, try 5 -10 more minutes. Adjust the time as needed.

      I didn't use sugar as the whipping cream is sweet and we are using the milk mix , which has condensed milk in it.
