I am a big fan of bluey and with season 3a, 3b AND 3c airing in Australia, I thought I would do a breakdown of every episode with a small review, some spoilers, and any bluey theories that might pop up. Bluey season 1 and 2 hit disney plus two months after airing in Australia so hopefully, all of season 3 will be out for everyone soon!

Except for "Army" I would also put all of those in the first tier. For example "Baby race" is one of my favorite episodes. I am not a parent, I never want to be one, but the line "you are doing great" is always something that makes me feel better and make me cry a tear of joy , plus it was overall very, very good episode. But generally this is a Bluey magic, you may never want to be a parent, but this show will still speak to you on many different levels.
I'm SO glad army made the top. I really loved that episode, and what I can tell from reddit, a lot of others did too. Jack is just such a relatable character. (plus he's adorable) I know for me personally the episode hit pretty hard. I was also late diagnosised and I actually had to switch schools bc of it just like Jack. But also I distinctly remember one day texting with my friend and I said the exact same words as Jack: "there's something wrong with me". That line hit's SO HARD 😭 Defiantly my top episode (next to cricket ofc)
totally agree its such a well made episode exploring so many themes and i just love the friendship they show between jack and rusty and how rusty lifts him up when hes feeling down

I thought Bin Night was brilliant! It has a interesting structure, some funny bits (Mr. Crow!), and is a great "how to talk to your kids" instructions for the parents.
totally agree it is a great parenting episode! i love how they show bluey changing and getting better with her karate levels too as little background details
I think Bin Night was up so high because it shows parents and kids how to deal with bullying, which is a big issue in our society
As a teen who watches bluey a lot barky boats HIT HARD, its definitely my favourite episode ever. Also i had buddies growing up and also i was a buddy as well so i felt like it was me in some sort of way you know? Also the fact that me and mia are so similar is CRAZY
I really like rug island, so im glad you put it second to top tier. Also im so glad ive gotten into your channel and watched a lot of your videos, as its opened my eyes to how good some episodes that I wouldn't have originally thought of as that good (eg. baby race, grandad, flat pack). Thank you!

I think Postman and Swim School are really underrated episodes, postman especially. I love how the game Bluey is playing with her parents and the one she plays with Bingo intersect, and the ending is great. I can see how some people would gloss over it since it doesnt have any messages about how to parent better, but it's one of my favourite "fun" Bluey episodes with a lot of great character moments.
I love shots like these at 1:20! There’s something about the character designs that are so much cuter from different angles! Look at chili, super cute. This show makes my heart melt
I rate Library much higher as a comedic episode. I quote "Lion hungry!" all the time, as well as Bluey's exasperated rules for the library--"You can be noisy, you can borrow all the books, you can even eat toddlers. But you have to return your books!"
Also I adore the lesson so much. I have to tell my nephew so often “we think you’re the greatest! But you still have to follow the rules!” about every day XD
I have the strangest obsession about loving the flash back and fast forward scenes in shows and movies, but Baby Race is really my top one for season two. It actually makes me cry to see baby Bluey walking towards Chili for some reason. A lot of people say space is the best, but it is probably a few tiers below, in “you stop doors, for stop” because really, it was funny, such as the running and jumping on Bandit, but I really just did not mind it, I would skip if I could. Same with Bingo, even though it was a whole episode on her, it was just a bit boring. I’ll make a list and figure out my rankings

Most episodes have a few cute lines or incidents that make me watch again. Bluey's line about Winton being a "Space Invader" in Typewriter, for example.
There are exceptions. Trains and Swim School do nothing for me.
Dang, I think Piggyback was just a cute little romp. No real plot, but the little bits were just sweet. Since I watch this show mostly to empty my head out after watching more fraught and demanding shows, that's a good thing!
Good ranking, now in the season 3 ranking I'm hoping that you put Mini Bluey in a special "aww this is just wrong" tier at the bottom (the quote is from "Pass the Parcel" and I think that it describes this episode pretty well)
My least favorite episode of all of bluey is in season 2 and its movies. Its such a big pet peeve of mine when parents dont teach their kids manners and alow their kids to ruin the movie for everyone else. I wasnt born when lion king was in theater and I always wanted to see it on the big screen and for disney 100 it was back in theaters for limited time. I was so excited and got tickets months before it arrived. When the day finally came it was completely ruined when 2 little girls were running around the theater talking and the parents dont have a care in the world. I left the theaters very unhappy.

"Rug Island" was the 2nd Bluey ep to nearly make me cry [Zoo- 1st] the last lines really hit me [Same with 'flat pack'] love how it's a bit of a spoof of "Lord of the Flies"
The deeper meanings and links to other literature is one of my favorite things in Bluey!
Yeah I get so mad, people still dismiss Bluey as a "Peppa pig type show" I was saying to someone at work how it was a spoof of "lord of the flies" and they gave me this look like "You don't think you over analyse these shows a bit much" in a "It's just a bunch of Monkeys singing songs" [Movie ep] type way@@aussiegirlmargie

This is overall my favorite season. It would be really difficult to evenly distribute the episodes among the categories, so I’ll just say that I’m comparing them to the standard of the whole show

My favorite season is season 3
I really like Mr. Monkeyjocks! It’s so funny and has a really good message of needing to get rid of things. And I love the end how Mr. Monkeyjocks gets donated to someone who really needs him
Barkyboats, Squash, and Cricket are very important episodes for me. Barkyboats being about the teenagers, and how much I can relate, squash because I’m the youngest, and sometimes I think that people see me as the baby, and sometimes it feels like my older siblings always “win”, and I feel like Cricket’s pretty much, I mean the persistence that Rusty has, and just how their family just loves being together.
12:10 - I think it made to TOP 10 because it focuses on telling and venting about stuffs while they were doing something. Bingo probably didn't say what was going on at her kindy right after she came home, and she started talking about it once Bandit asked her about it. So yeah, it probably teaches some parents how to talk with kid on what happened at their school/kindy, and that they can learn about some stuffs going on in kindy unexpectedly. ( Once again, Bingo had a thing with Banjo, and she wasn't talking about it once she arrived at home, but once the conversation was triggered )
"Handstand" deserves more credit for being a spoof on the short film "Tango" by Zbigniew Rybczyński [It's on CZcams] lots of rewatch appeal, concentrating on each kid each time, and "Bus" for being a spoof of the movie "Speed"

As a teen girl who watches bluey it's hard for me to relate to the episodes centred around parents but I've just got to say; BABY RACE IS AMAZING!!! So heartfelt, amazing flashback scenes and of course, ADORABLE BABAY BLUEY!

Bingo is one of my favorites
Sleepytime is my favorite episode in the entire series. I just love the visuals especially when Bingo gets to the Sun. Army is also one of my favorite episodes and Jack is probably tied with Bingo as my favorite character. There are several episodes I really enjoyed in this season, including Hammerbarn, Stumpfest, Double Babysitter, Ice Cream, and Grandad just to name a few. That being said, I can't really do a proper ranking of them because I haven't seen many of them.
One thing I do want to say is that I would personally put Dance Mode in a lower tier because it's probably my least favorite episode of the series. I really hated how Chilli, Bandit, and especially Bluey treated Bingo in this Dance Mode as I felt like they were peer-pressuring Bingo and both Chilli's and especially Bandit's use of the Please Face didn't help with this. I also have some personal reasons as to why I don't like this episode I don't really want to talk about now. I know the lesson about being able to say no is important, the way it was handled really rubbed me the wrong way and ruined the Please Face for me. Look, I know why people like this episode, it has an amazing soundtrack, the ending is wholesome, and the scene with Chilli at the crosswalk is iconic, and yeah this is a relatable moral. Just know a lot of the problems I have with Dance Mode are personal.
Overall, despite having episodes like Mr. Monkeyjocks, Ticklecrabs, Hairdressers, and my least favorite Bluey episode Dance Mode, I really enjoyed many of the episodes in Season 2 and it even includes my favorite Bluey episode Sleepytime.

I agree that Typewriter is one of the weakest, boring and unengaging episodes I ever watched. I also feel Helicopter is another weak episode as well. Any episode involving Muffin is always a treat to watch.
Muffin always has the best one liners haha, I did like the wizard of oz theme in typewriter but it just wasn’t enough to make me super engaged in the episode
