    Omg this is genius! Just today I was thinking of a way to remove the 4 inches of rain that fell on my pool cover. And I was doing it with a bucket. Definitely trying this out!

    I probably would have remade the video if I had kinked the hose that many times! 🤣Regardless, good tip on how to syphon.

    Alright i think all the air bubbles are out. *Air bubbles start coming out. Oops there's some more let's wait a bit longer. Alright that should be all the bubbles. *Air bubbles start again. Let's just give that a bit longer. *Air bubbles start again.

    True, but budget wise this method works great and a little water on top of the cover helps keep it down on the pool when the wind kicks up.

    I took a hose a submerged on end in my pool and the other end on the ground. I took another hose with spray nozzle and manually held it underwater on the submerged hose end until water flowed to the ground. Release hose underwater and boom, Bob's your uncle

    Why not use a splitter and drain water over to neighbors yard. Looks to cold to be disconnecting hose. Add an antisiphon connector while your at it. Just saying

    I did that last year and it was a pain. Better to just get an automatic pump and leave it to take care of business all winter.

      Nothing beats a pump for sure especially in an area that rains a lot, but it does get the job done when needed.

    How long does this method take?

    • @easyclearpool
      @easyclearpool  Před 3 lety +1

      It isn't super fast, but depending on how much water you need to remove it could take an hour to several hours.

    So it’s 20 degrees and your exterior water is turned on?
