Appreciate the review. I’ve been enjoying mine for EDC, airline travel, and quick weekend travel. I was tempted by the 18L Bullet with double compartment, but this just seems to be more flexible. I don’t load it out heavily, but can as needed vs the 18L Bullet

I too was tempted by the bullet especially for light travel. However the depth of the main compartment would have been just too shallow for most of the things I would carry for EDC

Will this work for a personal item on airline travel? Not a carry on, but a personal item.

@@Bgaragereviews ok. If it's your only item they could consider it as your carry on and not say anything. I was hoping to get the m23 and pair it up with a regular carry on size suitcase. Thanks for the review. 👍🏻

@@NorseRanger it was under the seat and was not made to put it in the bin, on the return had the straps maxed out for largest length and still no problems

nice video! thank you! i love the aesthetics and volume of this bag, but not a fan of the drawstring because it seems one more step to get in the bag from top. noticed you didn't mess with the drawstring when you pull thing out from the bag, just wondering if you use the drawstring at all? do you simply just fold the top side in like what it looks like in your video? any comment about how the drawstring affects the ins and outs when you use the bag for edc?

True I never use the drawstring, just stuff it all in on itself and clip the fidlocks. Got rained on the other day and nothing got it.

Thanks! Pre-COVID they were a lot more active in southern AZ but these days mainly in Phoenix. Planning on using the 21L for short travel next month, plan on updating then

How has this bag held up so far? Currently debating between a 21L m23 in ripstop or 500d cordura

I’m not an expert on how airlines view personal items. I have carried mine as my only bag and stored in the overhead, and also as part of a two bag combo with one in the overhead and the M23 stored under the seat at my feet. It fits under the seat with no problem (I have the 21L)

I don’t know why they wouldn’t. Women have 15L purses and a diaper bag both as a personal item.
