Strasbourg, Colmar and medieval villages on the Alsatian wine route

- In this video we present you a summary of our trip through Alsace, one of the most magical and medieval places in France. Very close to the German border, this area, which since 2014 is part of the administrative region Grand Est (one of the 13 metropolitan regions of France), is world famous not only for its wines but also for its incredible medieval towns and villages.
We visited Alsace on a 4-day trip starting in Colmar, a city known worldwide for its canals, its medieval old town and its wines. We spent 2 days here and also took the opportunity to visit two other gems of Alsace, Eguisheim and Turckheim, two towns that are about 15 minutes by car from Colmar.
Once we left Colmar, we took the wine route towards Kaysersberg, Riquewihr and Ribeauvillé, three of the places that surprised us the most in the surroundings of Colmar.
Then we set off from Ribeauvillé towards Strasbourg and on the way we stopped to visit the castle of Haut-Koenigsbourg, which dates from the 12th century and was completely restored at the beginning of the 20th century. We also took the opportunity to visit Obernai, the third most visited town in Alsace, and we have to confess that it was a complete surprise for us. The state of conservation of its walls, its belfry and, in general, its historic centre left us impressed.
Finally we arrived in Strasbourg, official seat of the European Parliament and probably one of the most beautiful cities in France. Its canals, its historic centre, its restaurants, everything in this city is magical!
For us Alsace is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and recommended places if you visit France and that is why in this video we invite you to visit it virtually with us!

Tuvimos la dicha de conocer, Alsacia y Strasburgo, Colmar etc.somos de Argentina, alquilamos auto, tenia programados des de acá,esos maravillsos lugares, con un libro en francés, que me prestó la Alianza Francesa.....sus comidas, sus postres tipicos de cada región....inolvidable

Nosotros quedamos en un hotel en Colmar. Cada dia visitamos un publo. Pero para mi Eguisheim, Riquewihr y Colmar eran los mas bonitos. Kayserberg tambien. Turckheim para mi era menos que los otros pueblos. Que pena que no visitamos Straatsburg. A mi me gusto mucho el Alsace son sus pueblos al routa de vino. ♥

Hola, somos matrimonio uruguayo organizando como podemos un paseo a Bélgica y Alsacia. Esos pueblos preciosos los podremos hacer en tren o bus entre ellos o hacer base en alguno? Gracias, MB tu trabajo ❤
Buen día! Para nosotros es mejor hacer base en Estrasburgo o Colmar que son las ciudades más grandes y donde más oferta hotelera hay. Desde Estrasburgo hay trenes cada 30 minutos a Colmar. Luego para desplazarse entre pueblos pequeños, en temporada de verano o para navidad, hay buses.
