You know what's really cool about the Curtains Down mission in Hitman: Blood Money...
This is from the end of the opera, where Tosca and Cavaradossi are lovers, he's to be executed, but Tosca organises with someone else that the execution is to be a sham, that the firing squad are going to fire blanks. Tosca instructs Cavaradossi to play dead when the shots are fired. After the officers leave, she rushes to his body, expecting her beloved alive and well, and they will escape from Rome to live happily ever after. Only it turns out that the person with whom she organised the sham execution betrays her, and soldiers used real bullets, killing Cavaradossi. Anyway, she finds out, and goes mad, and kills herself.
But anyway, how meta is that, it's like you replace blank bullets with real bullets in a dramatisation of a mock execution where blanks are replaced for real bullets.

P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N!!! This is how real singing is suppose to be, I can imagine everything she is doing on stage without being able to see her, every emotion and expression to show any emotions is present in her voice. This is the magic of Callas....the only singer that has been able to literately breath life into every character. That last high notes is so thick and metallic it cuts through the orchestra like an axe though butter.

I´m agree to many comments here, When I hear "Tosca", the first picture that comes in my mind, is Callas killing Scarpia and the last phrase "Oh Scarpia davanti a dio!".
This is the best Tosca ever, this is the human treasure history, that deserves to be saved..... thanks for this posting

Callas is simply unsurpassed here and it feels as if she is referring to herself saying ECCO UN'ARTISTA with such enphasis.
It drives me crazy! Think I' ve shed more tears on that single phrase than any other full operas in the world lol

such a limited view -- "screaming"
ah, Callas defined techniques - yes until 1959.
    who restored Bel Canto?
Poor Joan in the sixties when she had to follow Callas in her signature roles.
Ah, Aida in Mexico City? hmmmmm
Joan scooped into her high notes during the last 15 years of her career.

It's really pathetic when a groupie has to discredit a singer in favour of another.
Sutherland had some flaws too, for example singing things she didn't have the voice for ie: transposing down the Queen of the night was quite pathetic.
Next to that, she sang any language the same way: incomprehensible.
To say her diction was bad is the biggest understatement in history.
I don't say Callas is perfect but neither was Sutherland or any other singer in the world.
