what a solid documentary. this deserves way more views!
yes,not bad.
ABC Australia, possibly the best Australian documentary on Indonesia, our nearest neighbour, I have ever seen.
I was a ballboy for a match between Semen padang vs Bali United recently and i watched as Semen padang's supporters attacked their own manager mentally and physically
Football is to make friends, not find enemies.
Rohit Chand became player of the tournament in the same season.
Love from Nepal 💚
Rohid chand good performance
Love you Nepal....
yess,, Rochid is a good man and one of good foreign football player in Indonesia.
The suporters of Bali United is one of the kindest in Indonesia.. The always welcome other supporters. This breakout was not aimed to the away team or suporter. Instead, they suspected that their team was involved in a match fixing issue and these nice dudes decided to show it with their way...
Indonesia? Never expected it. Football is everything.
Happy to see our Rohit Chand wining trophy in Indonesia. Though sad to see life's lost. Football is about brotherhood and happiness peace my Indonesian brothers.
Great Nepali player and great attitude player , peace for you too
ikr, last 23 years, total 73 dies. That was heartbreaking..
Being a missunderstood kid in Indonesia... i am so sorry for the loss of the parents... rest in peace bud! Your true passion shines in your smile! Such a happy kid, modest upbringing even. So much potential lost.

8:06 very sad, but the fact is, started from coming to Bandung as a Jakmania to support Persija there is a mistake
Fundamentally, it is stupid to go there but you can't blame him. I mean, he's just another football fanatic in a pool of football fanatics.
What's funny is their support was useless, because the game is already rigged by corrupt official, sometime bribe the referee, they fix the match and score..
PROVE IT !
@Ernesto gonzag its true dude even we made a anti mafia for Indonesian football cuz so many matchfixing af
Useless? Thts very rude tbh. They love persija they are fans, none can said they are useless. I mean they only love them.
Indonesian please

Definitely all my respect for the ambience in the stadium. I have lived in Argentina and they have the best stadium-ambience in the world in my opinion. Wouldn't have thought Indonesia could be a competitor. That said, the negative points (also exisiting in Argentina) are worst than anywhere else in the world it seems like : corruption / violence... sucks.
Not to speak about the level of the local league. Most of these players wouldn't make it in the third or fourth division of my country (Belgium) it's kind of crazy how much support they still get. Must be something nice to experience for sure.
I couldn't argue about the professional level there ... It's a fuckin need for a revolution . All the top level official needs to be jailed and sacked for good ...
Well, our player (firza andika) just recently join to afc tubize, your 2nd tier league, surely not 3 or 4 tier
@@adityaindra1162 I can bet a lot of money that he will almost never play. And Tubize is going down to 3rd tier 99% sure next season lol No hard feelings man but for some reason, your local players have a totally awful level. Any player from my village team (4th Belgian division) could play in your first division.
The foreign top goalscorer of your league (Aleksandar Rakić) failed last season in... the 2nd division of Israel ! lol Shows how very bad your league and local players are. BUT once again : the support is amazing and if I was an average pro player, I would definitely want to play at least 1 or 2 seasons in Indonesia to experience the ambience.
Indonesian football fans your love for the game is at its highest peak but just want to let you know that you guys should enjoy football together with your rival fans.. football is a beautiful game, keep the good side of football. Football for peace☮️

I only like Indonesian National Team ..Not the the club!
Can you see how stupid hooligans are. Killing people from another team, but cheering together for the national team. Perfect example of Tribalism. I allways jokingly say that only aliens can bring world peace. If they would come here and wanted to fight and earth form together to fight them. That will be the only moment on earth were we all work together, all it takes is a common enemy haha!
yet both are shit lol
hay bro, as a head coach iv made a video on the u16 Indonesian football team vs China, i review and react to them on my channel come say hi and let me know if you agree with me.
Indonesian domestic football is consisted from 25% corruption, 20% bribery, 30% match-fixing, and 20% violence. Almost every supporter group has been growing violence culture in the name of loyalty. And don't forget that corruption also takes part of it because when a punishment sentenced to a club which it's supporter doing a violence, the federation could erase the punishment easily. That's why Indonesian national team never achive any silverware in many years, unlike it's junior such as U-16 or U-19.
nah, when i knew that facts i never watch domestic football again (except national team)
I was there . In Indonesia , when people come to the football they forget for one day that they are hungry or poor. Football takes them away from themselves . Football does it for them, and for this they love football and they are happy . Much love from India . 🇮🇳 Indonesian football fans are the best fans you’ve never heard of .
I know you @footytraveller and @footballfansasia
, Football is working class sport and cheap haha , i hope you can tell me how india football supporters atmosphere from your side

Indonesian football fans are creatures that you dont want to meet at streets. They do convoys, and driven by mob mentality, they sometimes groping girls and raiding stores after the match. They also keep on killing each others (jakmania vs viking). Not to mention that the match fixing and mafia behind them.
@@joditot that's almost true , have you even read the book of " Sepakbola : Indonesia Way Of Life "

kkk yes I’ve heard of that . But that’s just a societal problem that gets reflected in football . I’ve been amongst Indonesian crowds though , it’s not always like that atleast to an outsider
Good Journal, Sir. Keep it up! 👍🏼
Im from malaysia, im very sad when some other brutal indonesian attack malaysian people without any reason. You guys need to stop this things. Change your mentality/attitude. I know not all indonesian people like that but show some respect in media. I say it because i love your country. We have same tone skin, quite same language. Kita serumpun❤. We are One Family 😊
We Indonesians are too fanatic, passionate about Football especially with the local club sometimes with national team also.(but we not arsed about it anymore since our NT is sucks) ,and its shame what happen to Malaysian team. But i believed Indons are not "brutal" in normal life, only in Football.
Rusdi Taufik sorry about that, we dont know who start it first. They should be punish. Its more better if we not join them. Dont curse them on media. Let police / football association do they job. Peace ✌🏻

This is why I don't like Indonesian football although I love football very much. Indonesian football like 100% violence 0% achievement
1000% corrupted, don't forget it
Feeling hooligans lol
From looking at this documentary I think the problem is deeper. When I see people with young children in the middel of some sort of riot it shows me that people dont realise how dangerous it is or that they accept the danger. Reminds me of a story from the english riots were they broke in a jewellery and formed a nice line to get in and loot, haha even in a riot they are programmed to organise. I think in some countries its way more unorganised and when 10.000 people all go their own way and not follow rules you get fights. Also women fighting as hooligans? Cant they just do a 1 on 1 with a woman and man and just let these women feel what a man can do to them, they need to be protected from themselves. This shows me they have now idea what they are getting themselves in to.
90% Mafia and 10% Boxing
Me too bro!!
Even i'm indonesian, 100% corrupted and 100% violence
I think I remembered watching this game after finishing school in TV,

Almost all my life I live in Jakarta, near Lebak Bulus stadium, and grew up playing football with Betawi 'kampung' boys, but I support Persebaya, another of Persija arch-rivals, but they never do me anything harm even when I wore all green. Persija Jakarta is NOT the only football club in Jakarta. There's Persitara Jakarta Utara (North Jakarta) which currently plays in the third division. There's also an amateur club Persija Barat (West Jakarta). There was also Pelita Jaya Jakarta, which changed name and locations 11 times in their history and now is called Madura United FC (Pamekasan, Madura). And there was a Persijatim (East Jakarta), which moved to form Sriwijaya FC (Palembang, South Sumatra) and went on to win the Indonesian top league twice but was relegated to second division in 2018.
Persitara once played alongside Persija in the top league too.
But probably he referred Persija as the only major football club in Jakarta

i review the u16 Indonesia football team on my channel come check it out, i wish one day to be able to make a doc as good as this on football
In a country where the majority loves the game, it's kinda funny that the majority also hates these kinds of supporters. They are a disgrace to the beautiful game. Taking toddlers to the stadium where death is a possibility, to the stadium where it's so packed it's definitely dangerous, just shows the level of education or just a sense of awareness as a human being. The organisation is a corrupt pathetic mess, while the "organised" fans are equally pathetic , thinking taking lives is normal, destroying stadium, even the city streets are normal. As a person born and raised in Jakarta, I used to support this team, I was there 17 years ago when this team lifts the trophy before, but now, not one bit I'm interested in this league. Not one bit I'm happy or proud with this win, and not one bid I'm proud of Jakmania. My interest in this club, or even the whole league has decrease to virtually zero. These "Jakartans" don't deserve this city, and all they do is messing up the streets, the stadium, and other people's life.
The football players are carried with APC's to the game(s)?! The story of the woman and her dead son broke my heart. They killed this young man for no reason while several hundred people standing around them.
All the match is fixed. PSSI should just shut down the League 1,2, and 3 until it is clear from match fixing. Or else there won't be any meaningful celebration and real football talent rise up. :)
Yang perlu di shutdown itu para pelakunya. Harus sapu bersih.
Sacrificed their lives for persija ?
Wth
Iya bro, short thinking 🤣
None of them sacrifice their lives for Persija, and none of them get paid.
All those victims lives were force taken over by someone who loss their mind and faith.
Those victims didn't get paid, at least not by dirty money. They only sincerety got paid by pride of being Part of Persija Jakarta, and happiness whenever Persija win the match or championing the league or cup.
I also The Jak Mania, supporting Persija and Timnas, but I don't want to sacrifice my life for this club, me and probably all the victims supporting this club with the correct way actually. Until some of Viking and even The Jack loss their humanity and again the faith as the most powerful fence of our life for not to do all the bad things, and keep doing good.
Don't make any comments, although assumption if you don't know for sure.
Please respect those victims, they're good people and don't share any slander related to them.

Indonesian football is not always chaotic bro lots of beauty, cohesiveness and brotherhood that can be seen if you get closer. enough to cover the ugliness of Indonesian football in the world bro, it was only the fault of the Indonesian political elite who failed to maintain the order of supporters in Indonesia at that time. the essence of Indonesian football is not too bad when you look further sometime you come and may see for yourself how the atmosphere in Indonesia that teaches us about loyalty, brotherhood, and loyalty may be brotherhood and love of peace yesterday is problematic because of the political elite and hopefully in the future it can be better and sportier. the enemy is only 90 minutes the rest we club and supporters are all brothers. merdeka indonesia✊
