So good to see, I actually miss these old casual style vlogs, and your kids, they just grow too fast! You all are crazy hard workers. Great collection of sinks, you are good at seeing their potential, Angela, and Joel is so capable!
Nobody can accuse you two of not working hard for what you want but wow was it worth it. You have some real treasures. Your family is just great! Your creativity is so inspiring.
Wonderful to again watch these videos with Joel & the kids. I often think how much I miss seeing the children. I understand why, but still miss them. Love reminiscing along with you of all the hard work in your first years. There's still lots of work but different now. Thanks for sharing. 😍
Strolling down memory lane was a treat, and good reminder that to get the look we want it takes time, effort, hard work, and patience.
Just beautiful Angela. I remember the kids being this little in other videos, how time flies!! I can't believe people dispose of beautiful things in the woods. So glad you and other vintage loving people rescue these beautiful items and craftsmanship that you cannot find anymore. I'd love to see how everything has come together. You are all doing a fantastic job. Thank you!
Watching Joel help you haul out all of your super heavy treasures from the woods is raising the bar your girls will set for their future husbands pretty high! Lol, such a sweet family!
Dear Angela and Joel, it's August 21, 2022 and I'm loving you two more than ever. This trip to the woods for the sink is beyond incredible. I do relate to your salvaging skills no matter the venue!!! And Joel's comment "collector or hoarder"...oh my...I IDENTIFY !!! God bless you both and all your truly amazing children. Thank you for including us in your journey. Hugs 💞
I was fortunate enough to find an old copper sink locally. I had a cabinet built around it for my bathroom. It's the first thing everyone comments on when they walk in there. I can't imagine finding a kitchen sink like yours. That must have been such an exciting day. 😍
Joel has always amazed me , he isn’t scared of learning and doing any and all work to make your house dreams come true , blessed 🥰
You collect sinks like I collect chairs! I know I don't have room for any more, but that doesn't stop me when I see a really unique one. I love it.
I tried to put an old laundry sink in my kitchen when we remodeled a few years ago. There was no way to make it fit. I literally went to the basement to cry. So, I'll just enjoy watching you collect sinks instead
I share your sink obsession. My favorite sink in your home is the kitchen. You just don't see that type of sink anywhere. What a find!
Oh my goodness, never mind the sinks, look at your beautiful children. Boy they grow up so fast. 🙏🏻💜 and yes, I do love all of the sinks.😉
I started watching you when you had the long hair, so those older videos were fun to see! Oh those one piece counter-sink vanity tops are despicable lol! I had those in our old house too. I happened to see the wooden door behind you with the mullioned top and the X bottom....I have those same doors in my 220 year old house!!! I love the idea of painting them!!! Love everything you do- you're such an inspiration. Cheers!
"I have a sinking feeling"! Love it!
Best episode you have had in a long time. Your children have sure grown. Everything is looking so good.
Agreed! I absolutely love her decorating and inside the home content
Was that Joel having a meltdown? Good one Joel! Angela has her arty head on and Joel doing logistics. Typical. 🤣 Love it!
I remember watching these videos the first time around. I even remember suggesting to you that you needed a pony to help haul treasures out of the woods. LOL. I miss Joel doing cameos because he always cracks me up... whether he means to or not. I have often wished that I could find a nice garden sink (aka the urinal) because I have the perfect place for it. Maybe someday. But then again, the planning seems to be as sweet as the doing, and the doing is often sweeter than the having.
I so enjoy these old videos of all the work...the kids and everything you have worked on! I miss these. Joel is so very talented!! Wow!!
This is so nostalgic Angela! Oh I remember all this vlogs from years past! To watch you find such treasures in the “sink graveyard” and incorporate them into your beautifully transformed farmhouse! I think I need to go back to the beginning of your CZcams channel again! Soooo fun, and the growth of all your babies! Wow! Thanks for sharing this…..to see how far you’ve all come in your French homestead journey. Love it! Great work you all! And it’s a collection Joel! ❤️👩🏻🌾🐝
Your kids were so little, and sweet. I love Jr's hair, and his little voice!
Love the throw back Thursday. The kids have gotten so big. Thank you for taking us down memory lane. Love the way your house has come to be what it is today. You guys have worked really hard.
LOVED this !!!! I remember each of those projects , but loved the compilation of the journey ! I adore the older videos 💙 thank you so much for the inspiration !!!
I absolutely love the home movie style to your old vlogs. I love to see the new direction that today’s videos are moving in, but there’s just something so special about the throwbacks. So much joy and kinetic energy from this beautiful family❤️
I've not been feeling well lately and I've also not watched any of your videos in a while. Tonight I'm piled up in bed with a bunch of pillows, watching this one. I've seen all of these clips already, but I had forgotten how happy watching you and your family make me. You are going to be back on my regular YT routine. You sincerely brought a smile to my face. God Bless you all!
It is astonishing to see how much hard work and progress you have made in your home and garden the last few years. ♡ I'm inspired to go back in my photos and see all my own home progress! It all takes blood, sweat and tears but it's always worth it when you look back. ♡
I never comment but your marble/brass sink video makes me crazy smile the whole time it’s one of my most favorite.
The first time I found you was when you guys were dragging out those sinks from the woods! I have been watching you ever since! It was wonderful seeing this again!🤣
Me too
love hearing the noise of the children about!
You and Joel have made a lovely home. I love the old vlogs...
The Lord has blessed you with a beautiful family
I am worn slap dab out just watching this!!! Good job, you 2!! Love the old style blogs, enjoy seeing the children, how they've grown!
Oh the kids were all so little! So precious!
Love love such great design research and salvage! Lol, love you and what you do, thank you for sharing! I would love to be subscribed to your old world society, but the budget isnt allowing at this time. Hugs and love from Texas!
Loved this walk down memory lane....of course I'd be lying if I said I hadn't rewatched every video for inspiration recently!😇
💋How lovely that you are here! Thank you for those thumbs up 💋It's been a treat for me to go into the old files and see some of these older videos again and then to put them together with a theme? WAY too much fun. My next Old World Design Society class is 7/29. You can join with a basic membership or grab the magazine for Society access. www.parisiennefarmgirl.com/old-world-design-society/
Love this blast from the past! That resale shop was fun to visit; thanks for sharing it with me. Happy resale shopping, friends! Julie 🌷
I remember when I started watching your channel you had very long hair and that copper sink is beyond fabulous! If we ever find our forever New England home that will be one of my first projects, finding a copper sink. All of your sinks are gorgeous such beauty and great ideas. 👍
It's rather satisfying watching the sawdust dance!! lol
Beautiful home, beautiful family. Love to watch your journey.
It was fun to see all these beautiful sinks again! You and Joel make an awesome, creative team!
I can’t help myself from cracking up with all the dragging and pulling done just to get those sinks out of the woods! 😂 wow!
I haven’t seen some of these moments-I thought I had watched everything! I’m happy to discover these little glimpses of your “sinksession”. 😍
How fun is your hair scarf.😍 I love the sink you found in the woods, so much.✨👏🏻
Love your videos. I am on lookout for a sink for my yard to wash vegges and my hands as I garden. Small garden so has to be a small sink. Thanks for all the ideas.
You certainly have a vision for what you want things to look like, very inspiring.
I loved the video. Its amazing to see how your children have grown.
Btw I LOVE how you styled your head scarf! Tres chic!
A trip down memory lane. You guys have come sooo far!❤️🇨🇦
These videos are the reason I subscribed, you and Joel working together and the children helping ❤️
Y’all are adorable 🥰👍👍👍
So cute of the kids! You are very blessed.
That was a great trip down memory lane. I enjoyed it very much
So funny! I just hopped on CZcams to binge watch some of your old videos! 😆
Thank you for putting some together for me! 😍
Got plenty of help!
Your kids are so darling 🤗💕
I remember watching that video the first time you uploaded it.It was a hard work bringing those treasures home from the forest. You both are fun to watch.
Looooove that gorgeous little corner sink. What a jewel. So charming, and it's got a _massive_ Belle Epoque vibe (even though I have no idea whether corner sinks were a thing then). Genius touch to your home.
Great idea to do a recap all in one video !
Forest/Sink one of my favorite videos ❤️
Oh how I’ve missed these videos! You’ve inspired me to embrace my grandma sheek decor. I have slowly transformed my house into a place where I truly love to be. It’s got old antiques peppered in with some modern details. I plan on watching from the beginning (again🙂) I’m from Illinois(a little south of Chicago). I love your journey and can’t wait for you to share more!
I’ve never seen where you found the boot room sink. I’m definitely A sink geek too. I found myself getting so excited while you were cleaning off in the woods!
Woww your family is so brilliant so skilled and your kid is so lovely at some point he showed the intelligence.
Angela, I'm new to you channel today, I subscribed and liked...I mean Loved - Inspired - Absolutely! Thank you for sharing your family's journey. I live in a 1925 Victorian Cottage; however, the kitchen and bathroom are in a 1980's style and could use some "old world" charm. I appreciate all your great tips including focusing on improvement and doing the best we can with what we have at the time...and not perfection...I'll keep the Kingston brand in mind as I restore my home. Joel provides the muscle and technical know-how while you provide the vision and beauty...what a great couple you are...
Great video. Love it all!
Absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!
lol. Oh my goodness. I do love your sinks but that was pretty funny, you two trying yo rescue the sinks!👍🥰🌷
Kids were so young and darling.
Beautiful scarf
Very enjoyable to watch, nonetheless. Carry on The Parisienne Farm Girl Family!
I have an old white farm sink out back. I always wanted to drag it in.
Hobby lobby is great for hooks. Good job
Loved watching this !
We are kindred spirits i to have a sink issue I love cool old sinks , I have one like you found in the shop the lavabo I think they call them :) my friend went to France and brought it back for her shop and now I own it and it’s a working wall fountain in my porch , I have a copper decorative bowl I’m going to use as a vessel sink in my bathroom and I have a cast iron wall sink building a stand for , for out doors for washing things,, not too mention I have a double barrel wash tub and the 2 rounded barrel ones :) just need a big one like the one you found out in the woods :) I laughed the first time I saw that video and thought you need a 4 wheeler or atv when you go exploring thru their the woods for treasures … I so love your videos and your home !!!
I enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing.
Long journey ! 😉
I have the same sink... when hubby said can’t attach plumbing and you said that is the wrong thing to say...... The same sink is headed for our cabin..
LV LV old videos.. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ♡ ♡♡♡♡♡ ♡ ❤️
I’m currently redoing my kitchen in French Country but I’m having to work with modern ‘vintage’ look built ins, etc. Hopefully one day I’ll get it done.
Best video in a long time!! Loved it
Your guys needed a dirty bike/atv for that work of love ❤️😊hard work great results
Love your sinks and you still look gorgeous. Like your hair short
💜
This has been so entertaining and educational.
I love all those sinks and the work you did on them and the pipes.
Who is the scrumptious little darling earlier in the video? The one with the gorgeous smile and cute little voice? I think he was later wearing a little green coat (obviously your youngest but I don't know his name) such a sweetie.
P.s I absolutely love your tartan gilet.
Your sweater!!!!!! Where did you get it?? Fun video too❤️
Target clearance. $6.00. I would have bought five of them to wear forever if they had them.
One day if you ever want to save your grandpa shirts my sister makes quilts out of old clothes 🧵
May I ask where in Southern Illinois Joel's grandparents were? I remember this sink, I love it and the copper! I remember the sink in the woods. Thanks for taking us back in time 🙂❤️
👍👍👍👍for old!
I loved your long hair. Will you grow it again?
😍
💪💪❤👊
"Guess I'm not wearing these pants anymore." 😂
I heard that while editing this and laughed out loud!
You have tabaggins I have skateboards! Lol we use what we have
Use all the old sinks as flower pots on a fence:
❤️🇧🇷
Oops! “Sinkspiration”!
Girl, 🤔 You need to buy your man a T-R-A-C-T-O-R to help him do all this stuff he does for you. The poor guy😟
Elle parle trop!
Go ahead and just say it in English, dear. It reads rude either way. It's MY CZcams channel. I'm supposed to talk.
@@ParisienneFarmgirl no problem, you talk too much. Apparently you are the type that doesn't accept criticism.
It would be a fairly strange video if she didn’t talk …
You didn't picked that beige coat on this one? what a shame, i love it and it look so good on you! I been folowing you for so long, i can't wait for a new video and a would like so bad to travel to París with you but money is an issue for me, i live in Spain and a shouldn't have to travel from USA but anyway i would live it for some other time. ❤ you girl!
