- Pokémon is a much beloved franchise, but the games are well known for having a fair number of bugs and glitches. Many of these can be exploited to do some interesting things. Let's take a dive into the first two tiers of the Pokémon glitches iceberg!

You ever see a video and feel like it was specifically made for you? Yeah that's me right now. I've been hugely into Pokemon glitches for as long as I can remember and I'm also a sucker for iceberg videos. I was even active on Glitch City Labs and helped out on researching and documenting some minor obscure glitches. (Although I'm not sure if any of the ones I contributed to are on this iceberg on the later tiers.) So thank you for bringing so much satisfaction to me with this video, I am very excited for the next part!

Some of the coding mistakes for early gen pokemon are pretty interesting/hilarious, you dont need to know much at all to understand how it works
I used to spend literal hours reading about the different glitches in all of the Pokemon games (some articles several times just because I liked them the most) so this is exactly my kind of video
I'm guessing the "65000 different decamarks" is because they used a 16-bit index for the list of Pokemon, meaning that there are 2^16 = 65,536 possible slots for Pokemon. Since there are only 386 actual Pokemon in the gen 3 games, the other 65,150 slots give you a Decamark if you try to use them

Acid rain is one of my favorite glitches!!! My other favorite is the one in Japanese black and white, where, in a double battle with cheren against team plasma, if your pokemon all faint but cheren beats the battle, you can walk around with all fainted pokemon, deposit it in the daycare, and have no pokemon in your party!

I haven't finished the vid yet but I'm wondering if you mention the glitch trainer. I've never seen anyone talk about it yet but it's a trainer that spawns when you surf up and down the east coast of cinnabar island after using the old man glitch and surfing up and down the coast at seafoam island (like the item duplication glitch). The trainer had a sprite of a scientist and various missingnos, normal ones and one with a Nidorino (not nidoran) sprite and their stats were so broken they had attack priority and killed all my pokemon in one hit. I tried to make it happen again but could never make it happen
oh you did mention glitch trainers! lol well hope my story helps people replicate this glitch
