While Ms. Feldon and Mr. Blyden talked about her experiences living full time on a houseboat, in 1974, they coyly avoided the fact that she wasn't aboard solo but living on said boat with her then-companion (and onetime 'Get Smart' producer) Burt Nodella who would opt to keep living on houseboats the rest of his life long after their bond was over. BTW, Ms. Feldon had previously been married to a man named Lucien Verdoux- Feldon. However they split in 1967 and she's never remarried but since her parting with Mr. Nodella has happily lived solo in Manhattan and had her autobio 'Getting Smarter' published in 2022!

admits, to 'like', this was a no-brainer. I've been a fan, since seeing my first episode, of "Get Smart", in 1966. I was six years old.
Always that awkward moment at the end of the show when they expect all the contestants and panelists to mingle.
i always wondered what barbara's forehead looked like.
They usually had her in that unbecoming hairstyle with the bangs. Didn’t realize until years later what a beautiful woman she was.

Last time I saw a limbo contest was 15 or more years ago. The lady who almost won was about 4' tall. For most of the night she just walked under it w/ no problem.
