Nice catch with 89, 90, 475 and Thomas all behind the shed
Thanks
@@ItzTrains_Productions you’re welcome 🙂
Timing is everything....Nice👍🏻
Thanks :)
This is a great video of "behind the scenes" at the end of the day at Strassburg. I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade, but in the interest of accuracy I feel I need to point out a few discrepancies: First, by definition a steam quadruple header, triple header, or double header means that all the locomotives are under steam, crewed by a fireman and engineer, with each locomotive doing its fair share of the work. It's clear from this video that only 89 is working, switching the other three locomotives which do not have enough steam pressure to move under their own power. Second, many years ago I was present at an East Broad Top Railroad when they ran a true quadruple header from Orbisonia to Colgate Grove and return. Lastly, I'm curious what you mean by the term "legal"? Again it's a great video, but you should revise the title to reflect what it is actually showing.
ok so 2 things im not talking about the Narrow Gauge railway as this is normal gauge also the term quadruple header means consisting of four parts or elements. there is 4 trains and idk about legal @TrAINS1008 did that one lol
Tho it is still a Quadruple header when the RMNB did there doubleheader 2102 did all the work so yes its not a complete quadruple header but 4 units were hooked up together like the same as a dummy engine
Thanks tho

There are examples of standard gauge quadruple headers, one of them involving No. 90. After unseasonably high temperatures, the blizzard of 1949 struck in January leaving north-central Colorado paralyzed. A plow train headed by No. 90 followed by Nos. 60, 75, and 51 was assembled to clear the Great Western after the blizzard.
And to be considered any form of train lead by more than one locomotive, all locomotives in question must be under steam and capable of moving under their own power. In this scenario, 90, 475, and Thomas are not fired and are the equivalent to rolling stock.
@@strasburgrailfan90 Is there a video?
Ever time there is a triple header Thomas be like Hey What about Me damnit!!
lol
Thomas: let me out now.
16:40: Thomas be like: HEY! What about me?!
your put away in part 2
Why????? Not me???????
Thomas says.
@@bethmotgomery2662 lol
Wow, now there is something you wont see everyday.
yes very cool
Title a little misleading. Not really a quadruple header. 89 switching his brothers around the shed. Nice for people to see. A quadruple header woukd be 4 locomotives each working to pull one train.
ye I did not make the title ask @TrAINS1008
Not to mention the southern hemisphere, train expo 2014, uk, niles canyon and various miniature and live steam railways
When was this videoing been taken? This year?
within the last 365 days
@@ItzTrains_Productions It was on March 27th
@@TrAINS1008 ik u said that before lol
oh i know
The whole crew is out Thomas, 89, 90, and 475 aka the rainbow sun
yes it was very cool
13:21: Thomas: I think you forgot someone…
He did
89 is a strong one
Yep
Yeah but not as strong as 90
