Hi, Johnna! So fun to see another thrift haul from you! We don't have "Good Will Outlets" here in Nova Scotia to my knowledge. The prices you shared are unimaginable to me. It is rare to find anything under $1 at our thrift stores, that would be the lowest price for anything ever. Even postcards are $1 each. I love watching your thrift hauls and imagining how excited you must be when you find this cool stuff. I hope you get your 1K subscribers soon! Do you guys have estate sales in NS? Maybe you could find cheaper items there and maybe go the last day when they mark things way down. What about Facebook marketplace, I notice some people do well there. I have something fun planned for my viewers when I reach the 1k mark. I swear I keep getting stuck around the 860 mark, I gain some I lose some, it's really weird. I heard that if people don't engage with who they follow then YT takes them off the subscriber list, not sure if that is true or not. I love your haul video's!! I am going to take a trip to Dallas just so I can go to a Goodwill Outlet. Hopefully that will be in a few weeks for Spring Break!!

I used to go to the bins back in the day when they filled the bins with a tractor bucket and only once a day!! Can we talk about avoiding broken glass? But it was $7 for a grocery sack as much as you you’d stuff in it and clothes by weight. Awww another Peanuts fan!! 😊 Hey, we got married in 1991! You got married in 1985?? I honestly thought you were a lot younger than me! The Christmas cross-stitch, lovely! Aww the 🐩😊 Great haul! I may have to go back some day! You can go live from your phone? Hmmm maybe I need to check out my settings LOL And I have been waiting all this time!! I know I can stream if I am hooked up to my wifi and just use the camera. I am going to look into this, thank you for letting me know! Yes!! Watch for broken glass for sure! I can't believe they would fill them with a tractor that's crazy- I never lived by a Goodwill outlet before so it has been fun going there- I am partial to estate sales though, I think I enjoy the fact that we get a peak into people's lives and the storytelling aspect. I went live for my birthday/retirement drawing. There were pop ups directing me to set up something and I just skipped past and went for it. I think you could title one “test run” and just hop on and say hi and show a peek at something you’re working on just to see how it all works. I’d pick an estate sale any day over Goodwill too! Thanks for the encouragement! Cheering you on to 1k too.
@@crinkledpath I will give it a go, thank you for the tips- I am trying not to go to an estate this weekend that I saw was posted in my area, it looks full of things from the 1960's ugh- I am running out of room and spending a small fortune on bins since I currently am misplaced out of my house after the tornado hit it last year
Oh I’m so sorry to hear that! Yeah we definitely don’t want to get to the point that are crafting stuff is a burden!! How long are you going to be out of your house??? 😢
@@crinkledpath it’s such a long story but in a nutshell Feb of 2021 I bought a house, 2 weeks later a tree fell on it, then my mum passed two days later- in trying to find a construction company I happened upon a bad one in which they told me they could not rebuild on a bad foundation, they tore the house down all except garage in Nov 2022 then my sister died the following Dec and a tornado took out what was left of the house in March- after that found a new builder and they started in November of 2023 and found out there were footers under my old house and it never needed to be torn down!! Anyway hopefully it will be finished by July of this year
Always amazed at the things you find! The first time I heard about the bins, fabric items were like 19 cents a pound. Inflation! I had the same sofa!
