After 5 years, I still don't understand how this wasn't released as an official third single. This could have been a huge summer pop jam. Still my favorite Adam Lambert song.

The Original High was radio hit after hit, it deserved better. And this song should have been a single, I'll never know what his management was thinking..

yep... l am a metalhead and not much of a pop song lover. But, Adam is an exceptional case. It is winter here, but his song makes me feel like I am sitting on a beach on a hot summer day.

This is one of my favorite Adam Lambert songs. And my most favorite from The Original High. And every time I listen to it, it takes me back to my original high. In March 2020, I went to a convention in Asheville, NC. Had the time of my life. So much fun! A very memorable experience. I didn't have a care in the world while I was there. All I cared about was having the best weekend of my life. And from now on, I'm gonna be chasing that original high. I relate to this song very much. And Adam's vocals in the song are incredible! He's the best singer I've ever heard in my life! Practically every other I've heard pales in comparison to Lambert. And I'm proud to say I'm Glambert! 🏳️🌈❤️❤️

Adam is amazing singer. This should be a single instead of Welcome to the show (even thought I love his message there). People don't even know he has been fronting Queen and released a great album, ghost town (little airplay) is the only uptempo song released. Then, he will be on TV this fall with 'no single' releasing. It is great that he has been busy touring around the world. The current people at his show def not represent possible people had his promo was done differently. Anyone from fuel by ramen or dj producer willing to feat. him? Please don't give up. We buy the music so our fave artists can produce more songs.
I am a 63 year old Glambert I guess. All I know is that every song he sings I love. There has been nothing like him since or before he was on AI. I am still upset that he got robbed but I trust things are turning out okay for him.

Stunning falsetto. Most singers sound like it is a real effort and don't sound "natural" when they do falsetto - not to say they don't do it well or that it doesn't work in the context of their work, But in this the falsetto seems to float effortlessly and so clear and clean it is delicious ♥

Adam's music writing skills are quite impressive. He should continue to compose his own stuff because in the case of the Original High, the song FEELS like him. He can sing anything, but you can sense his soul in the lyrics. A great dance number and this may overtake Ghost Town as the best liked song from the album. Congrats...A job well done!
This song grew on me. It has a very catchy tune, a nice arch, starts off a bit laid back with a good beat. I love how it suddenly drops to quiet muffled chords (2:32) that builds up in clarity and hits with a climax at the 'high high HIGH...' part (2:46). What a rush!!! Lots of contrasts, textures, layers of sounds, singing styles... Love the vocal contrast (chest voice and falsetto, and then he throws in his signature wail and the beat kicks in
When I feel out of sorts, I listen to Adam. I swear he has magical healing powers in his voice.

I don't know what happened but this song is stuck in my head for 3 days now. It's not that catchy at first but it's a delayed catchy. It starts off a bit relaxed but builds to a climax when he sang the 'high' part. Wooh! What a rush! Orgasmic!

If this song isn't a huge summer HIT for Adam, then something's seriously wrong. This is a FANTASTIC song, very well written, extremely catchy & Adam's vocals are beyond extraordinary, as always. I've actually liked all the songs released from this album so far, some more than others, but "Original High" is the ONE SONG that I absolutely CAN'T stop listening too. I crank it up full volume while driving, or just working around the house, & it NEVER FAILS to put a smile on my face & get me moving my body? Absolutely Love....love....love it!
