Hi Nanette! Just found your page, I'm starting at SGU SoM in August of this year and my sister is a grad from 2019. I had a question- do you think in the first 2 years at SGU, they prepare you well for Step 1, like US Medical Schools do? I know US Med Schools push you towards doing Step 1 questions with blocks from the beginning, does SGU emphasize that as well with their curriculum?
As I am only in term 2, I can speak for as of now . I do feel prepared and well knowledgeable of the material. Every school & curriculum is different so as I get closer those things might get applied but not as of now .

Hola yo me gradue de SGU ya hace 5 ano y mi primer semestre aya vivi en los apartamentos en la universidad. Despues Cuando regrese para los Otros semetres vivi en una casa fuera de la universidad . Es major de es manera para que conozca el area primero. Suerte.
Hola, siempre va hacer mejor quedar afuera porque se ahorrar dinero. Para mi yo me quede en la escuela el primer semestre porque es requerido por la escuela si ayuda para conocer. So es depende del gusto. Espero poder aberte ayudado
