Tonight, Jews around the world celebrate the first day of the Jewish calendar called "Rosh HaShanah" (meaning head of the year). It is also known as the Feast of Trumpets in the Bible, which signifies a time to gather together and enjoy the Lord.
Numbers 29:1 says: "`On the first day of the seventh month hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. It is a day for you to sound the trumpets."
There are 4 main calls on the shofar, which is the Biblical trumpet:
1. Tekiah - One pure sound that calls us to search our hearts and repent.
2. Teruah - A broken up sound that is at least 8 notes that calls people to acknowledge sin and change their ways.
3. Shevarim - An alarming sound that calls the people to move with speed, signal for breaking up, and to stand with God.
4. Tekiah Gedolah - A long drawn out sound that calls the people one last time to repent.
Let us hear these trumpet calls from the Lord this Feast of Trumpets, and repent and turn to God!

I got baptized this morning. I been saved since September 6 2014 accepted Jesus as lord and savior and received the Holy Spirit and was born again! However, someone earlier said that’s not salvation and that I’m still lost! Well, the Bible clearly says those who believe on the son of god will be saved! Romans 10:9! I guess you can call that person a troll or a scoffer. There will be scoffers in the last days. Forgive him father God, for he know not what he does!
Congrats!! I have been following God or at least doing my best effort to for 5 years now. I have been wanting to get baptized lately as well.
Congratulations. I got baptized 9 years after becoming born again. You got baptized in The Holy Ghost when you repented and accepted Jesus. The water baptism is an outward symbol.
If you have put your trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Yeshua Ha’Mashiac for your justification before God, then you are saved. All that is required for that is to believe on Him for that. That’s it.
Remember, as soon as we make it about something we must do, then we are claiming some of the glory of salvation as our own. But it is God alone who will get all the glory for every single born-again believer because salvation is by grace alone through faith alone.
How can we know we are saved? Ask yourself this question: where are your sins? If the answer is “they are hung on the cross with Jesus”, then you are saved :)
