Hi sir, I have the same AC windfree 2024 model 5 star. What I know is inverter ac ka compressor off nehi hota. But jab me 26° ya fir 27° pe de raha hu, compressor off ho raha hain. But 25° dene se compressor chal raha hain hamesa. But rat pe bohot thanda ho jata hain, is liye 25° se 26° pe deta hu. Uske bad bohot garmi lagta hain, firse 24 pe dena hota hain. Hamara yaha koi electricity flauntion nehi hain. But compressor kue band ho raha hain? Please reply sir. It works like non-inverter ac at 26°. Kya ac pe koi problem hain? Hi! Could you update your experience with Windfree AC after using it almost a year? Thinking to buy but online reviews are not favorable with strong mentions on poor service, AC malfunctions in few month and indoor and outdoor unit's noise are quite high and even few compared it to cooler like experience. 5 Years Comprehensive warranty which Samsung was giving last year is no longer available in 2023 models so if so much issue is there then is it worth buying this model just for Windfree feature or should I switch to LG AC. It is because, during summers, these service center guys outsource the work without Samsung's knowledge. The same thing happened to me. I made a complaint to Samsung customer care and escalated the matter.

Instead of vacuum the engineer used flushing method, he had small gas cylinder with him, in the end 99 was reached on smart installation, vacuum is replaced with this method these days it seems, your view please

Keep a hole in the wall with 4 inch pvc pipe. Use an end cap to close the pipe until ac is purchased. Make sure wiring is also done and socket is provided for AC.

As per the desc you have mentioned the model AR18BY4APWK but on official Samsung website it does not mention freeze wash tech. As per the Samsung website the freeze wash is only for AR18BY4ANWK model and the AR18BY4APWK has instead tri care filter. Very informative video, They did not have the vaccum when installing,I called the service centre ,they appointed an engineer and he said that now that the ac is functioning we cannot vaccum. I asked them to vaccum it,they have agreed to it. What is the process and will it help the system to function optimally?
Once ac is installed and gas is circulated, it cannot be vacuumed. Otherwise entire gas will be wasted then new gas charging required after vacuum. If they're paying for gas, get it done.
@@ZenInnovations thanks for your prompt response, appreciate that. Could you also guide me on checking the performance of this ac. I have a 3 star 1.5 ton. It takes 15min to go from 27 to 25. Ambient outside temp is 43°c and the room size is 10×14×12. Doors are not sealed but rest of the windows are insulated with thermocol sheets. Also when in the night I set the temperature at 28°c on the remote,the indoor unit shows the room temp at 27°c and it feels chilly, the compressor cuts off and then it waits for the temperature to rise till 29°c, then the compressor kicks in action to agin cool the room till 27°c. Is this normal because this doesn't happen at any other setting. What might be going on. Is there a guide to know if the ac is working as optimally it can?
You can check my remote guide- czcams.com/video/la7_W_MPdZo/video.html Performance varies a lot room by room. Samsung compressor tends to shut down below 400w. That seems to be happening with you case. Try running the ac at 27.C and 60% setting.

I am using samsung 3 star wifi AC, When i changed the temperature to 27 degrees and then i switch off the AC and again switch on the AC, it is setting to default to 24 degrees. All the options are setting to default. Is it possible to be in the last settings what i had set, when switch off and switch on the AC. Please reply sir.
Here is some more info- If you watch my LG video carefully, One can see that if we set temperature above 24 (That's why I use example 26 or 27) it can preserve that and starts at last used temperature. However if setting is below 24 (Like 18) It goes to 24. Samsung on the other hand starts always at 24 and makes a loud roar of Fan which makes it quite annoying. What I mean to say is, there are better ways to implement these rules, which LG did but Samsung did not.

This is my review after using 14 days of 2022 1.5 Ton 4 Star rated Windfree AC. Biggest issue with Samsung AC which no sales person or technician will tell you, Windfree AC Outdoor unit vibration is so very noisy when compressor runs on slow speeds. You will still hear noise when you are inside your room. It is design defect in windfree AC. This defect is acknowledged by Samsung Brand Service managers.
Interesting. My outdoor is just outside the window. Its very silent. I hope your technicians have used rubber feet when installing and all bolts are tightened to spec.
@@ZenInnovations No they haven't used rubber feet, as distance between two stand is more than the distance of outdoor feet. Even the technician has squeezed the thicker copper pipe. On Day 1 on installation water was leaking due to improper drain pipe, later on rectified.
Bro its common sense....without the rubber feats it will obviously make noise....there is no doubt that all AC outdoor units vibrate ... Its just how u install it .... You had to get the proper knowledge before installing anything.... Due to samsungs customer friendly service the service providers are taught to not force the consumers to pay extra on any other thing... You have to request it to them yourself....during installation they asked me too ki " sir aapko mahenga padega woh rubber pads ( 750Rs ) aap nhi lagaoge toh bhi chalega...but i requested them ki aap please lagwa do we'll pay extra".....its never the service providers fault....we should be aware too

Hi sir, I have the same AC windfree 2024 model 5 star. What I know is inverter ac ka compressor off nehi hota. But jab me 26° ya fir 27° pe de raha hu, compressor off ho raha hain. But 25° dene se compressor chal raha hain hamesa. But rat pe bohot thanda ho jata hain, is liye 25° se 26° pe deta hu. Uske bad bohot garmi lagta hain, firse 24 pe dena hota hain. Hamara yaha koi electricity flauntion nehi hain. But compressor kue band ho raha hain? Please reply sir. It works like non-inverter ac at 26°. Kya ac pe koi problem hain? Hi! Could you update your experience with Windfree AC after using it almost a year? Thinking to buy but online reviews are not favorable with strong mentions on poor service, AC malfunctions in few month and indoor and outdoor unit's noise are quite high and even few compared it to cooler like experience. 5 Years Comprehensive warranty which Samsung was giving last year is no longer available in 2023 models so if so much issue is there then is it worth buying this model just for Windfree feature or should I switch to LG AC. It is because, during summers, these service center guys outsource the work without Samsung's knowledge. The same thing happened to me. I made a complaint to Samsung customer care and escalated the matter.

Instead of vacuum the engineer used flushing method, he had small gas cylinder with him, in the end 99 was reached on smart installation, vacuum is replaced with this method these days it seems, your view please

Keep a hole in the wall with 4 inch pvc pipe. Use an end cap to close the pipe until ac is purchased.

As per the Samsung website the freeze wash is only for AR18BY4ANWK model and the AR18BY4APWK has instead tri care filter.

I will anyday prefer freeze wash over triple care filter.

Very informative video, They did not have the vaccum when installing,I called the service centre ,they appointed an engineer and he said that now that the ac is functioning we cannot vaccum. I asked them to vaccum it,they have agreed to it. What is the process and will it help the system to function optimally?
Once ac is installed and gas is circulated, it cannot be vacuumed.
Otherwise entire gas will be wasted then new gas charging required after vacuum.
If they're paying for gas, get it done.

Ambient outside temp is 43°c and the room size is 10×14×12. Doors are not sealed but rest of the windows are insulated with thermocol sheets.
Also when in the night I set the temperature at 28°c on the remote,the indoor unit shows the room temp at 27°c and it feels chilly, the compressor cuts off and then it waits for the temperature to rise till 29°c, then the compressor kicks in action to agin cool the room till 27°c. Is this normal because this doesn't happen at any other setting. What might be going on.

Performance varies a lot room by room.
Samsung compressor tends to shut down below 400w. That seems to be happening with you case. Try running the ac at 27.C and 60% setting.

I am using samsung 3 star wifi AC, When i changed the temperature to 27 degrees and then i switch off the AC and again switch on the AC, it is setting to default to 24 degrees. All the options are setting to default. Is it possible to be in the last settings what i had set, when switch off and switch on the AC.

Here is some more info-
If you watch my LG video carefully, One can see that if we set temperature above 24 (That's why I use example 26 or 27) it can preserve that and starts at last used temperature. However if setting is below 24 (Like 18) It goes to 24.
Samsung on the other hand starts always at 24 and makes a loud roar of Fan which makes it quite annoying.
What I mean to say is, there are better ways to implement these rules, which LG did but Samsung did not.

This is my review after using 14 days of 2022 1.5 Ton 4 Star rated Windfree AC. Biggest issue with Samsung AC which no sales person or technician will tell you, Windfree AC Outdoor unit vibration is so very noisy when compressor runs on slow speeds. You will still hear noise when you are inside your room. It is design defect in windfree AC. This defect is acknowledged by Samsung Brand Service managers.

My outdoor is just outside the window. Its very silent. I hope your technicians have used rubber feet when installing and all bolts are tightened to spec.
@@ZenInnovations No they haven't used rubber feet, as distance between two stand is more than the distance of outdoor feet. Even the technician has squeezed the thicker copper pipe. On Day 1 on installation water was leaking due to improper drain pipe, later on rectified.

Bro its common sense....without the rubber feats it will obviously make noise....there is no doubt that all AC outdoor units vibrate ... Its just how u install it .... You had to get the proper knowledge before installing anything.... Due to samsungs customer friendly service the service providers are taught to not force the consumers to pay extra on any other thing... You have to request it to them yourself....during installation they asked me too ki " sir aapko mahenga padega woh rubber pads ( 750Rs ) aap nhi lagaoge toh bhi chalega...but i requested them ki aap please lagwa do we'll pay extra".....its never the service providers fault....we should be aware too

aur samsung ke yeah wind free bhi kuch practical nhi lga.. kyunki wind free mode pe ac ke as pas hi cooling hoga.. lkin ac ke dur cooling performance bekar hoga.. samsung ke ac ka cooling acha nhi hain, logon ka bauhat complain hain.. uske upar yeah wind free...
It's use windfree a lot. It's useful if you are sensitive.
