Phoenix Fire Department's Fire Station 35 is seen responding to multiple calls. Station 35 houses Engine 35, Engine 935, and Rescue 35. In this video, Engine 935 is in a reserve unit.

It’s when there regular truck breaks down an they get a reserve truck in till there regular truck gets fixed

A reserve truck is a truck being used in place of the frontline rig. Engine 935's frontline is a Pierce Quantum, but during this time it was in for maintenance, so they were in the reserve American LaFrance Eagle.

When a apparatus is having issues the department gives them a backup rig until their Frontline is back in service that is what a reserve is
