- Walkabout Mini Golf is a fantastic game. Was not expecting to feel so much nostalgia for Wii Sports this week but here we are. VR is basically Wii controls grown up. Virtual Reality and all sports (not just mini golf) are a fantastic combination. I never knew because I was too busy play VR shooters. I hope this video gave you a chuckle. Playing Cloudlands Mini Golf on the Vive was a great party game experience. One of the best experiences in VR.
Honestly, mini golf games, even non vr, are way more fun than they should be, especially with friends

I bought Walkabout because of Habie, and it's the one game that my friends and I always come back to when we play in a group. It's a great way to feel close to people who are far away, and have a relaxing time. It's been almost a year, and I still come back to it as often as I can.
That end was such a cliffhanger. Don't do that to my heart 💔
This game is just so relaxing, also a very good title for people who are new to VR as it's not overwhelming you with movement and mechanics.

I might say that Sairento or Into the Radius are my favorite VR games, but honestly I spend most of my time listening to podcasts and playing this. It's just the best. Gotta collect all those clubs too, habie.
I have a strong suspicion you would enjoy Mass Exodus in VR.
It's a two-player "asymmetrical" game. One player is in VR and is GIGANTIC and they have to try to find the PC player, who is tiny and trying to sneak around blending into the NPCs and completing objectives.

Honestly I can't wait for omni-treadmills to become more affordable and sports to be a major part of vr. Yeah I love all the other experiences I've had in vr but the games I always come back to are games like forever bowl, walk about mini golf, golf+, thrill of the fight, and even echo arena. I think the big draw is being able to take a sport that is fun in real life, gamify it and have a solid multi-player and vr could change the way we look at exercise forever. If there was a wii-sports vr game like sports scramble but with the ability for a lot more movement and the inclusion of pickup games at any time. I would be addicted to my headset and would be itching to get home from work just to play some more. I know this path is soon but I am so excited for the future we live in.

the new map they released in walkabout is absolutely amazing its sooo good its a good course but its mainly good because of the map it just makes me so happy i often just go into it and sit up on the cliff and chill lol

For a second I thought you were playing Cloudlands VR Mini Golf. It's one of the first games I played in VR back in 2018. I remember the 18th hole being a par 100 and shooting a 152 or something like that.

This game is amazing played it on the quest before it came to PCVR and it’s even better on PC, looks stunning… which is funny to say given the graphics style
It's funny how often we can forget that good graphics doesn't need to be photorealisim, heck, I've had more fun running around in the cartoonish worlds of No Man's Sky than most other games.
I do adore Halflife Alyx though, seeing such a real world infested with combine tech and eldritch horrors is an intense experience

Eleven: Table Tennis reminded me of playing table tennis on Wii Sports Resort but actually good and *very* comparable to the real deal. It's crazy how games have changed within just those 7 years.

This is my number 1 VR game. Nothing comes close to this amount of polish
I am in the beta for the full course version of Top Golf with Pro Putt and it is truly what Wii Sports resort golf felt like to childhood me. The base game with the driving range and mini golf was already exceptional and in my opinion a little better than Walkabout. Definitely worth checking out. Others have mentioned eleven table tennis as well which is probably my most played VR game.
