Hey man i appreciate all of your content and free game! I’m a new subscriber looking to join the business soon. What commercial insurance do I need to get started with local & short hauls? And plan on getting my authority but do I need it first (MC/DOT#) to get started?

You need DOT & MC for long haul /short it depends on broker, you can get load with it from bigger companies or load boards. Most brokers requires 1 million liability and 100,000 cargo.
