BBR Witness Report: “I live near the Cannock chase area. I had a real encounter with something strange, out the corner of my eye I saw something that looked like a person in a Chewbacca costume, he was just really bulky and big, whatever it was it stood still like it had been frozen in time, so I shouted in a friendly voice "what are you doing in a costume out here, are you stupid"? He was about 250/300 feet away from me and as I shouted he turned around and let off this growl that was like a lion's roar but from inside its body. I stood frozen and it turned its leg and went to move, the back muscles expanded like a bodybuilder and it began to run away. It wasn't coming to me, but running in the opposite direction?

There are a couple of witnesses who have used that term to describe what they saw during their experience.
I'm surprised by how often dog-like/wolf-like creatures are described as looking sickly or unwell.

I went to a do in Stoke on Saturday night, i left there at 2.45 am heading back to Warwickshire, travelling alone in my van, i stopped at a few very rural places across the Staffs moorland between Stone & Cannock lovely clear night, in the hope of an encounter with some unearthly creature, no luck though.
Your a brave man, I would have melted. Try close to Stone Lane, although the latest sighting of the beast was close to the Broad Bridge Stableford last summer.
They are everywhere x

Halloween. Staffs is a strange place. Full of mysterious creatures and odd legends.
The Pieman. Sugar Dipper. Hard Knees and Old Mother Sandwich Maker are all reputed to roam the dark byways of the Potteries. Be careful on the moors. Rudyard Water is a particular hotspot on a full moon.

Always been fascinated with Cannock Chase with sightings of the werewolf and other cryptids.
I’m going to take a few trips there during February with my camera. So I’ll be doing a little photography and just exploring and seeing if I can catch a glimpse of something.

You're wise to seek morale support, I don't advise a lone walker in the wilds, certainly at night. I'm presently just too far away. How I would react to encountering the creature/s in question, I'm not sure. Very possibly a supernatural dimension to take into account. My grandmother's advice would be to take authority in Jesus & pray away the fear & any danger.
@@deborahhatswellbbrhay Debbie IV only just been listening to Ur podcasts I have a little story of my own years ago I seen what I thought was a dog but it was looking over a brick wall with its front legs hanging over like someone would look like if they wre leaning on a gaye for years i always just put it down toe just being stoned but it eas the way it was looked at me i was almost expecting it to speak to me it was ever so strange rhe look it was giveing was what was strange for it to be looking over that eall it would habe had to have been atleast 6/half to 7 feet.i only started to rethink this situation after listening to Ur show I never had heard of dogmen back then iv also learned that dogmen have been seen in my part of the world I'm not saying for sure what i seen eas a dogman but id be happy to tell u my story on it.

If you think praying stops anything you're being extremely puerile. Nearly everybody in the history of time when they were getting eaten alive by bears, sharks, lions, tigers and very likely werewolves were screaming and begging god to save them. The sky never cracked for them no miracles happened, they died.

Hi debs I was with my son in harwood forest northumberland last week.all of a sudden we heard these weird growls about 30 yards away.then they were getting closer and moving about.this went on for just over 2 hours.itryed to get into the forest but it was to thick I would have to get onto my stomach.it was still going on when we left

I can picture what a Bigfoot looks like cos I've seen the footage of them 😉
But a dogman, I cannot imagine what they look like. One of the accounts in this video describes the creature as a large hyena/mutant deer rising up on its hind legs and pushing down on the bonnet of the car.
The accompanying illustration to the video shows a more humanoid werewolf. Which is what I picture when thinking of a dogman.
It would be interesting for any of the witnesses to draw what they saw, because I struggle to picture it.
I think he added the "deer" part in there,only cuz his mind couldn't reconcile what he was seeing,save for some mutated deer of some kind 😬 I'm guessing. I think your pretty close,when just picturing a Werewolf(though I've not seen a Dogman personally)
I've read there are a few different types..howev,these Hyena types are supposed to have quite a temper and be all sorts of aggressive 😟
I've had the same question as you..what exactly do these creatures really look like?? I'd like to see a witness sit down with a legit,professional police sketch artist 😀
Till then..someone that did get a good look at one,directed me to the movie "Dog Soldiers" 👍 he said that's about as close as you can get,without seeing one yourself. Furthermore,he's convinced that someone working on that movie,has actually witnessed one themselves..being that it was so close to what he'd seen in real life.

The descriptions vary but as a rule of thumb there are the typical hammer house Werewolf type. Then a more human body with dogs head and fur. Then there are the hybrid ones. No fur, dogs head, huge muscles torso and large nostrils like a horse. The word Minotaur is often used too?

No sightings in Ireland but their is structures that are appearing more and more in some forest near to me ..... Their were never their in the past ....

For the record I was once saw an abandoned car with engine running lights on inside and out but nobody in it.... it was 10 o’clock at night misty on the snake pass between Manchester and chesterfield. Any thoughts.....?

You never know in the pass. Some strange things happen up there. When I was a young girl we found a greyhound tied to a rock up there. He had clearly been stuck there for days poor thing. We had him for 8yrs and he was a lovely chap

This puts me in mind of a documentary Richard D. Hall made, if I remember rightly a car was found like this in the Brecon Beacons. Long story, but a military guy came forward to say a young couple were abducted (by aliens) and their bodies left stripped of skin. I recommend it, it sounds sensational but it is an excellent film.
