The reason Hitler is more prominent than others, in my opinion, is that he actually perpetrated an ideology behind his actions. Unlike Stalin or Genghis whose main aim was totalitarianism, Hitler had a more infectious ideology and ideas are much harder to kill, so he became more of a symbol of racism that was much more common during that era and hence became the perfect villain the world needed to recognize that racism is wrong.
Nice observations, however in my opinion, ideology was behind both of them, Stalin's totalitarianism killed people based upon their ideas which are not inherited by birth and can be changed whereas Hitler killed on basis of identity which was stuck to a person i.e being a Jew or Slav etc. you can't control that, you're born into it. Life goes on for the locals. The shot, bombed, war crimed die, but the others continue on with life. Stadiums with small sports..tv in homes relaying movies, news.etc..radio with songs. Farmers farm and their stock goes to ruling military. Shops don't open and sell as inflation in ground zero is probably 5000% in wartime. Majorly areas occupied part by part. Never does two sides run and clash and lift up into the air. It's wrong in every movie/documentary ever depicted till date.
