I completely get that. Lol. Any of the 3 he wore during the regular season were amazing and the Playoffs are sick also. Agree with you in that I also don't see a bad angle on this model- it's beautifully simplistic and the quality is phenomenal. I find it interesting that I noticed only the Playoffs had the tan shoe paper we receive in retros nowadays while all the others had the black plastic wrap. As far as a quick glance at the China vs Taiwan pairs, the China seemed to have more rounded edges and curves of materials and shape, while the Taiwan looked good to have been made a little sharper in these areas. Maybe they worked the materials tighter around the last? Never seen these Air Rise up close like this, definitely a cool addition to the content. That's a great looking basketball shoe. Gives me Air Max 95 vibes with the uppers. This video was almost 22 minutes and I could have watched more. Lol. Appreciate you, bro. #219forLife

97-98 I wanted the flu game 12s as a kid but ended up with the 98 flint 13s which is my 1st and favorite j’s of all time but later as a late teen I bought the 96 taxi 12 OG with Original Nike Box still have them to this day
Got all of em, half china and half of em are taiwan made, it's not too different, but i will say the leather mudguard print is slightly different. Still wanting to restore em and wear them.

Binging on your videos recently. Great content. I had a question regarding the smell on the og 12s. I bought a deadstock pair of og flu games made in taiwan. Everything (but the strong chemical smell) seems to check out as authentic. Do any of yours have that smell? Do they even make fake og jordans?
Best original colorway IMO out of all the 12s, is the white/red (Japan 12s). Just the way the red pops off the shoe. Looks like the Japanese flag. I was wonder if you were going to do a comparison between the 2022 playoff 12s and the originals. Is the pull tab on the originals stiff or soft? I notice on the 2022 version, the pull tab has a wider opening and feels stiffer.

@@ogorbust1697 I see, thanks for the reply....The 2022 pull tab is velcro stiff. A lot of differences if you stare hard at them. Jordan Brand/Nike cutting corners and it makes them look different. The grade school retro 12s looks even closer to what the originals look like, the entire shape of the shoe and lizard rand. After a chance of having them and wearing them, very disappointed in the 2022 version. A lot of quality control issues. That's why I'm glad I didn't double up on them. It's a shame, my second favorite 12 colorway.

The taxi are my all time favorite shoe. The 12 is my favorite silhouette.

I checked the 2022 retro out and was not impressed. Sticking with my two pairs of ogs one I rock and one ds.

They do, slightly smaller I'd say vs modern retros. Go half size up if you're thinking about it.
