They are unbelievably good at kitchen tasks. 😱 it’s amazing. Kids that age usually spill all over the place.
Thats the beauty of Montessori! It stresses giving children the activities needed to do practical life tasks (like cooking) and gives them the time to master those skills!

I love that you allow an hour of screentime. I wish I could do better about limiting it for my son, but it's definitely refreshing to see other families incorporating it even though it's "frowned upon"

I absolutely love this video. If I had not known the age of ever girl in advance I would have thought they were much older. You two parents have done an excellent job teaching your children to be independent. And to keep your children on a schedule I do understand why. Everytime I watch your videos I'm amazed by what the girl's are doing now. Thank you so much for sharing.
They are so sweet, competent, and adorable. I wish I could have another seeing them so close. Definitely goals here. I feel like at 14 months old, I still get absolutely nothing done all day and rely too much on music videos when our goal was zero screens. It's probably an 1hr a day or even 2 on bad days.

Such an inspiration! I have a one year old and I’m love the Montessori parenting style. She gets no screen time, only when I really need to get something done which is not often. She loves independent play and I am trying to teach her the alphabet and trying to potty train her. Thank you for providing me with new ideas for educational toys! 😌

Very inspiring & motivating👏 idk how you make it work so effortlessly & both your littles have CLEARLY benefited from having that solid structure & rhythm to look forward to each day/night👌 I’ve been trying to implement better routines with mine & they always seem to thrive when they know what to expect. I think it helps give them that sense of security & control for themselves. As you said also, involving them in daily activities making them feel included is SO important in developing their own sense of independence👍

Its a lot of trial and error. Just follow your kids rhythm if they have any and plan around that
I started by taking a day to pay attention and write down what we already do, then thinking of what I would rather have our day look like. :)

I noticed that you’re doing your own editing, outsourcing it can be a huge game changer for you! It’s not too expensive and the time you will buy back is priceless. I’m a small youtuber and I have found a decent editor who is constantly working with me to ensure I’m happy with the edits and takes feedback and improved with every video. I highly recommend you taking the time to find a good editor, your life will be forever changed!!

This was extremely helpful! I feel like at 21 months with another on the way, I'm finally developing some minor semblance of a daily routine. And it is a huge stress relief - thank God! I really appreciate seeing your full routine and am amazed by how much work you guys put in for the girls. Thank you for giving me a wonderful structure to strive for and for the constant inspiration.
You and your family are so inspirational. Thank you so much. Do you have any advice for guilt/anxiety over not applying Montessori much during the early years and too much screen time? My son is 4 and I feel like I failed him. Also, do you feel if you only had one child, she would have much more difficulty playing independently? I can't even imagine my son playing 20 minutes on his own let alone 2 hours haha. I'm his constant playmate.
