My favorite part about the winning level is the VVVVVV esque room names.
I think it originates from commodore 64 or atari games. Jumpman for atari did it, and so did a steam game called "You have to Win the Game" that pays tribute to commodore 64 games. I wasn't really alive at the time so I can't say for sure

i guess i'll try to interpret it anyway: i believe it's a direct written account of an existential crisis the creator of the level had while judging the QLDC that wound up in the judging level itself as though the existential crisis were part of that level being reviewed

This entire segment was incredible, so many highs and lows. Music was on point for all of them. Amazing work by the folks who made these.
Still don't know if the QLDC Judging Level was serious about everything it was judging and maybe it's better not to know if there really was a farting pony and a skinless mario Sprite. That was especially amazing. It started to read like an AI dungeon prompt except it stayed coherent. Strangely beautiful and disturbing. Definitely a glimpse into a dark reality.

Played through these stages a bit ago and the one at 1:58:11 is so impressive, has to be my favorite.

The QLDC judging level had me repeatedly debating whether or not it was art, and it would then immediately start talking about shit like Sonic the Hedgehog Mad Libs.
And whenever that happened, I stood reassured that it definitely is art.
The best part of the QLDC judging level bit was when "meet n fuck mushroom kingdom" came up and I saw people in chat doing parts of the "MEET N FUCK KINGDOM STEVE" meme
Also wonder if Vinny GENUINELY didn't get the Undertale bit, even though I'm 90% sure he would remember at least a part of the meme bit even if against his will

The funny haha speen man plays Mario in the background, and I wonder how many seconds are left before my first heart attack. Sounds ring in my ears and I close my eyes. I pause the video. I think maybe I'm tired. I think maybe I'm thirsty. I think maybe a 30 year old is halfway dead, and I feel the darkness echo within me. I am 10 as a ceramic lamp my mother hated shatters on the floor.

Having seen a full play through of the Hamburger Hell one before, I HIGHLY recommend doing a full run of it when you have the time/brain power for it. It gets absolutely nuts in terms of what the mechanics allow for and the plot and meme trash ascend into levels of absolute bonkers insanity that do not disappoint.

I'm going through a real rough patch right now, but after that qdlc judging level, I feel like I'm in a slightly better place now.
We are traveling, and currently settled into a hotel room for the night. While I'm watching this, my travel companions are sleeping and omg, it was soooooo incredibly difficult not to bust out laughing and wake them up during the "judging level" with tons of text, and the final one as well XD
That QLDC judging level was a literary masterpiece

Between the Law and Order Parody and the QLDC Challenge Level dissertation, this stream segment was WILD (in the best way) - also the music for many of the levels, including the 120 fps mario vaporwave-esque level, were incredibly well done and I love hearing all the SMW tracks in fanmade content
