YG's decision that Jaehyuk became the center was right. Being a center in choreography is needed to balance the whole group. jaehyuk fit and height suit become the center for certain parts.

I almost can’t believe what I’m seeing. This guy that began in Team B, that always used to get a lot of criticism and got scolded for his lack of charisma and confidence, and surprised everyone when he fought hard to achieve his place in the final lineup. He has now proven himself, he unlocked the potential and honed the skill he has, and he has grown into the best version of himself. I’m proud of them all for having to finally debut and showcase what they’ve had in store for us, but honestly I’m most proud of Jaehyuk for proving everyone that doubted him wrong, and for working really hard to improve so much. I’m so happy to see he’s a center, he deserves it. I’m excited for more of his and the group’s performances!

In YGE it's either you enter very talented or YHS (and the producers) saw something in you, like how well a trainee learns and adapt to their system and group. It doesn't matter if it took a trainee 6 years or 6 months, they only debut the ripe ones.
