The way that movie storyline unfolded couldn’t happen today. The guys trying to find the party would use google maps, and not be out searching it’s location all night long. Others could stream it live with video footage of it n progress. Do these types of events happen any longer? I mean outside of Coachella, and EDC? Not really the same.
Ahhh memories. Even as a teenage punk rocker, I really enjoyed some techno. Orbital, Underworld, Josh Wink, etc. One of the best concert experiences I ever had was in New York when I saw Sasha and Digweed spin, and when this song was played, it was simply amazing. The 90's rave scene will always hold a special place in my heart.

I saw DJ Polywog spin at an underground rave in central florida, I saw John digweed spin several times at Miami's ultra music festival. Then I moved to northern california and forest green is still a huge part of the rave scene up there, so 16 years later I was friends with forest green on FB and going to all the parties she was spinning at in Sacramento. Groove did a great job showing the rave underbelly of the late 90s early 2000s. If you are new generation it comes highly recommended. Along with Human Traffic and GO.
This is the era where EVERYONE actually loved each other and how they felt. The vibes were amazing in the nightclubs none of this left vs right bullshit that’s going on this crappy ass world right now. The real era of love and enjoyment of each other’s conversations and time we’ll spent with others. Not this nonsense of people always on their phones that can’t hold a sentence.
