Nazlı (Özge Gürel), who wants to become a professional cook, dreams of opening her own restaurant by learning Japanese cuisine. He becomes the private cook of his boss Ferit (Can Yaman), whom he has not met for additional work to support the student house. Bulut is by far my favorite character in the series. No fail, always brings a smile to my face with his playful, smart comments. Just this episode where he steals for the fun of eating and Ferit backs him up, then he says they’re just talking man to man. SO CUTE!!!

Hands down for Necip (Hakan) he really aced that character, a broken child turned criminal wanting to succeed by all means, Hakan was bad but the character was topnotch. You just can't watch without appreciating this antagonist.

Actually if Hasan did not kill the D’émir couple I would like just for the love he have for Demet even tho she doesn’t love him back,despite being broken and cruel there’s still love in him.
The part when Ferit talks to Nazli on the phone and she gives him the clue drives me crazy!! Ferit stands there and ponders, “Something’w not right…” and then takes his sweet time to get in his car.. I’m screaming “HURRY UP! GET IN THE CAR!”

Denise aced his role. Need to accept it. His anger, jealousy, love, isolation and final surrender was all captured well in his face.
Denis was one of the most honest people in this series. "What you see is what you get." he played his part perfectly.
And i like the way he smiles and laughs when observing his co actors bickering ahhahaa

I won't lie, Hakan is the first villain who had my feelings confused. I didn't like him but at the same time, he made me laugh and I felt sorry for him. The childhood that turned him into who he is. He is very talented to pull that off.
Evet, I didn't like him too, but he also made me laugh with some of the things he would say and do. And I feel sad with his serious adverse childhood experiences because of a wound so deep inflicted by Ferit's mother and father. Now I understood where his hatred towards Ferit came from and why he acted psycho-like with Ferit and everything about Ferit.
Excellent actor! Hated him, yet saw his charisma, humor, and sad childhood.

I too liked Can Yaman character in this film, but as the series got closer to the end, the storyline became messy and unplanned. It seems like the characters became distanced from their respective parts. Episode 80, should have shown more emotions between Nazli and Ferit, but they seemed like they were just playing a part waiting for the scene to finish, it was like they were about to break up and was only staying together for Bulut. Don't know if anyone else saw that too?

I fully agree too messy,would have preferred to see Ferit,Nazli and Bulut enjoying family and Nazli's pregnancy life with Ferit would have been more meaningful and a precious ending to the series

@@donnapowell506 because the original series should've had 50 episodes (Turkish version) someone mention after Hakan got caught, their love story starts at the beginning with Ferit got shot and lost his memory. But rumor has it that Ozge's manager tried to stop her continuing the series and besides the rating starting to drop in Turkey, while outside Turkey, specially in Italy and Spain, Dolunay throw a succes.
Demet’s wardrobe was 🔥 all through. Gorgeous woman!

Wow! All stellar actors. Hakan was even likable as a villain. He was perfection! Bulut, amazing! Deniz was annoying but made me both hurt for him and love him. By far my favorite character was Fatos. She’s funny, supporting and always there for the drama. I really thought she and Engin would end up together.

All through out the series, it's Deniz became the Hero, not Ferit. He only save Nazli once, while Deniz saved every women in this series 😅🙈

@@kiranlanfranchi2539 I don't know what you mean by positivity but the 81 episodes , didn't even seem so long. It was beautiful story and of course Can and Ozge's acting was superb. IT is not really 81 episodes and 30 minutes. iF YOU Watch the ones with english subtitle , it is an hour long.

Its my favorite drama because all actors are talented especialy little Bulut he is thé cupidon between Ferit and Nazli he is an Angel
They're all good actors and actresses. They gave justice to their roles. Even their facial expression, are all good!
Can't help noticing Ferit looked so worn out, haggard and drained of energy, and his eyes looked dull and sunken particularly after the hostage scene with Hakan. The events in the past days/weeks leading to Nazli filing for divorce for unknown reasons (to Ferit), fear of losing Bulut's custody again to Hakan and having to deal with his own emotions over Nazli amongst others is really taking a toll on Ferit's health. I got the feeling Ferit (Can Yaman) was maybe not well during this episodes. We have seen him in better days. Thank God no one was hurt in the struggle but most disappointing though is the missing hugging/touching scenes between Ferit and Nazli after the ordeal, but thankfully the writer rewarded us in the finale. Ferit seemed to have recovered and his handsome debonair look is back which is irresistible and to top it, he got the greatest gift of all from Nazli, with baby on the way❤cheers everyone, Happy and blessed new year😂
he's supposed to look like that. he's just been through hell and back. kudos to the makeup people for the job they did.
his eyes, though, are burning bright with intensity...and, as hakan tells the tale, i can see ferit's eyes filling with tears......this is the unfolding of ferit's nightmares....

I'm sure they made Can up to look worn out, but, coupled with his acting skills, Ferit really did look so drained and broken down as he struggled with his thoughts and fears about their imminent divorce and the ramifications of it.
I, too, thought the time after Hakan was arrested was weird. There was no grateful hugging between Nazli and Ferit, which seemed very unnatural for the situation. She was almost shot and killed, and he had to wrestle a loaded gun away from Hakan! But they just stood there talking to the police and then looking at each other. Strange--some sort of glitch in the directing there? Or were they in a rush to film that part?

i do believe they looked the part of victims of a horrific scheme, almost deadly....kudos to their acting and make up people.....

of course, i watch this episode over and over....and i realise now, after hakan is taken away, both ferit and nazli's eyes look dull and tired......
they've been doing this for weeks and months....maybe that's why they don't hug...they are frozen in place.

Was nazli pregnant before ansuman revealed everything to ferit about Hakan n nazli divorce.?I think when bulut showed the drawing as family with his new siblings , nazli smile revealed that she is pregnant.
I'm sure she was pregnant before she smiled secretly at Bulut's drawing, but I don't think she knew or realized it until just before New Years. We don't know how many days passed after the arrests but probably only a few.
This gun point scene of Hakan with Nazli, Ferit and Leman is the most terrifying and emotional one. But I am very very disappointed that the writer failed to show any emotional aftermath scene between Ferit and Nazli in a moment of relief and tenderness after Hakan was handcuffed by the police. There should be hugging and tender moments between Ferit and Nazli to make it more relatable and real after the traumatic experience of almost losing the love of your life.😢

The role of Demet was nasty,vindictive, obsessed etc but it was a strong role and Alara Bozbey played her part very well - bravo to all the cast a brilliant series Can & Ozge perfection ❤ Australia

Watched dolunay 4 times and is still the best of Can Yaman's acting in this series. this episode was the best. Bulut is a talented child actor. i must say Necip's acting of the villian Hakan role was very good. he was so much more covincing, than Ferit Aslan role. it is easy to play the role of a good guy than a bad one. But I don't understand why Demet has to advise Nazli about taking good care of Ferit. Perhaps Demet still loves Ferit. Unrequited love that is what it's called. you love someone but you can never get that person. Can Yaman's outfits in this series really made him look good. The man has good taste in style and fashion. It has been said that at times he uses his own wardrobe than what the directors tell him to wear.
Yes that's right but not in this show. Bay Yanlis he got to have input on what he wore. He said this in an interview he did in turkish

i actually started to look up reactions by those held at gunpoint and i'm finding their reaction is more human than 'hollywood'.....
i think i'm going to put it to rest now.....because their reaction to the horror that unfolded and is now over, is a grand choice by the directors and writers and fits with reality.
So, as wealthy as Ferit is, he couldn’t employ the services of security men in his house. From the first episode till this one, anyone just enters his house as and when they like. Mr writer, please rewrite Ferits character well next time. Because, no rich guy will stay so easy like that

38:19 - Ferit has come a long, long, long way! In the beginning of the series, there is no way he would have allowed Bulut to put that food on the couch, let alone take part in hiding it.
Love changed him, Nazli gave him renewed spirit & trust and Bulut gave him the ability to care, be gentle, loving towards his nephew ❤

He was in love with her when she was with Ferit. She was a possession he wanted. That's all. Because love doesn't hurt the person. It doesn't hurt the people that person loves. in my opinion, both ferit and nazli were in shock.
they were suffering from a trauma that had finally culminated in hakan trying to kill nazli, bringing the whole thing to a head.
both are exhausted......and suffering from ptsd.
it is more human to fold into ones self than it is to hug and embrace.....
it's like breaking down after the crisis is over. they've held themselves together this whole time.....
their eyes tell me a story.....they are shell shocked.
I'm so attached to Donulay now that I can't believe it is one episode to end. Even though there were some parts that really annoyed me like any other show, I'm gonna miss it so much. I'm glad I can't rewatch it whenever I feel like it, though.
If I already had a high standard on men now that I met Ferit it definitely has increased and the worst part is he doesn't exist and neither does Ozgur another Can’s character that I love so much.
Even if it was a made up character...Ferrit was a joy to watch. Is there such a man in this world!!!!!!!. Wishfull thinking....but fir a.moment we felt joy...admit it.

What are ugly bedroom scenes? People sex is natural and in stories it doesn't really happen its acting. You can't judge a story rather look deep inside your heart why you have problem with sex scenes that are totally modest with not naked people.

i never got the feeling that hakan loved demet. he wanted to own her, possess her and through her, gain status....which he couldn't do since she was ostracised by her family and he was not accepted....i think he's a very fine actor, as is demet....and they really made me loathe their actions.....both tragic figures, drowned finally, by their wicked plots and schemes.....
i did find it odd that ferit and nazli didn't touch after the crisis was over. i think i want to attribute it to shock over the events of the last several hours...
as to the mother...well, she needs to go back to the farm and rethink nazli and how she will treat her in the future, especially since nazli is pregnant...

I was disappointed that Leman has no interaction with Nazli when she was leaving to take Bulut to the farm. She should have acknowledged her with a hug or the very least accepted Nazli with an apology for doubting her love for Ferit and Bulut after the truth was revealed. Another point that didn't make sense is where did Hakan drag the security guard after he knocked him unconscious. Ferit should have seen him when he arrived home.
Right! There should have been scenes like that, I'm also waiting for that kind of details.
I find it strange that Ferit did not hug Nazli after her harrowing experience. There was no scene where Ferit comforted Nazli.

I know everyone is happy bcos Hakan and his wife have been captured, but looking back at his story, it's really sad. He's also a victim who turned to the dark side and had no one to teach him good (orphan) . No wonder he wanted a child so badly, he must have been very lonely, but that is NO EXCUSE for his actions. He did terrible things.
Moreover, looking back at how cold Ferit was, he would have been the same way. See how he hated his mother and how he wanted to destroy Nazli's dreams bcos she hid Asuman's wrongdoings, even though he loved her. If Deniz hadn't convinced him, he would have done terrible things too. But luckily, he was surrounded by ppl he loved and weren’t afraid to confront him. Furthermore, Nazli, thru Bulut, came into his life and showed him love and warmth ❤
So he’s quite lucky
I beg to differ, you right Ferit could have turned the way Hakan did but he did not, it's actually a great lesson in this series that you can have the best of one thing along with a cheating mother and that could've turned Ferit into a womanizer but he found Nazli and loved her whole heartedly and there is Hakan who had a poor background.
You'd think that is something that would make him to be a better person but no, his a victim of not accepting his situation in life and feeling the need to being above people his been below of. Nobody taught Ferit to love, he had the bandon of what his mom did but became better person out of that, not comparing but he just his a crappy personality and entitlement that the world owes him something, it's harsh but it's true unfortunately.
At some point I blamed Demet for marrying Hakan while she loved someone else but that shifted by Hakan killing Bulut's parents, he crossed a line there a huge one, besides his dark side on business, he consistently wants to control everything be a hero at the cost of people's lives.
What upsets me is that the way he has no empathy, he knows first hand how it is to be an orphan but was totally Okay with Bulut becoming one, his a psychopath honestly and has the nerve to want custody of Bulut.

What a horrible mother she was. Hiding the truth from her son for years, she let him suffer for so long, causing ferit to not believe in a true, loving relationship. Lucky that Nazli came into his life and taught him to love and forgive.

Ms. Leman wasn’t nice to Nazil or apologetic for the HUGE role she played in bringing Hakan into everyone’s lives and the myriad of problems that sprang from her having an affair with Hakan’s father. She tried to patched things up with Ferit when he said let’s look to the future, but all in all she was self righteous, spewed the blame elsewhere & was unable to self reflect on her personal actions that were the root of the drama & pain throughout the entire series.
The perpetrators of all evil are never really punished because the victims of their deeds can easily forgive.

No question that Deniz is the most over-emotional and impulsive man-child that I've ever seen! There are moments when I like him but more moments when I don't and yell at Deniz to grow up!
The actors that did all these roles did great. I love Ferit, Nazli, Bulut especially. My only other comment is why did Ferit not hug Nazli after Hakan was taken away by the police. I know he loves Nazli, but that would have just added to the storyline. 39:53

Scenes are cut out during editing because of time constraints…we can assume that Ferit’s comforting Nazli was cut because the end of the scene was disjointed, especially after his understanding behavior the night before.

1:31 I wonder if Deniz believes Ferit now. In episode 44 (25:30-27:50) Deniz basically accused Ferit of having a one- track mind seemingly out to prove Hakan guilty of the crash that killed his brother (Demir) and Ferit's sister (Zeynep) without any evidence. Ferit told him that in the end he would see that he was right. And he is. Deniz heard it out of the mouth of killer himself. His motive was that he was envious of Ferit and wanted what he had. He took two lives, almost four for material things. Hakan truly is a sociopath (a person who has a mental health condition in which they consistently show no regard for right and wrong and ignores the rights and feelings of others. This person lacks empathy, is impulsive in their behavior, attempts to control others with threats or aggression, as well as using intelligence, charm or charisma to manipulate others. *) I believe that this is Hakan in a nutshell 21:39. No pun intended.

Both hilarious and ridiculous when yells at Nasli for insulting him and then threatens to sue her for insulting him. "I'm going to sue you tomorrow for slander. I have proof to sue you" 😂😂😂. So ridiculous. He just threatens and manipulates everyone and thinks he has power over you. I'd be like "ok, go ahead and sue me tough guy"
