Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is a direct continuation of Transformers: War for Cybertron. Giant robotic life forms known as Transformers are at civil war. Two factions, the Autobots and the Decepticons, vie for control of their home world, Cybertron. The events of the previous game have left the planet unable to sustain life, and the Autobots, desperate to ensure the continued existence of the Transformer race, seek to flee the planet. The Decepticons, still bent on domination, will stop at nothing to ensure that the Autobots either submit to the Decepticons or are eliminated. Fall of Cybertron depicts the final battle between the two robot factions, which results in the desolation of their home world, forcing the Autobots to seek refuge in our galaxy, the Milky Way.

God, I love the climax of this game. The Space battle, the constant switching between Autobot and Decepticon forces, choosing between Optimus and Megatron; everything just feels so desperate and dire, like every moment really counts. Such a great game.

TF Prime Optimus is just as good in my opinion, one of the best incarnations in so long

love this game!! The story, the new characters and new looks, the weapons and the upgrades acquired through the campaign, but could use more dinobots and combiners. All and all, one of my favorite transformers games.

That final battle in the Ark gets me everytime. I find it funny that megatron is sitting in the nemesis while soundwave is breaching the ship and murdering autobots on his own. And he's telling soundwave to do all of the hard work

@@Lou_Spowells I’m not ignorant I just said “Maybe” they wanted a better voice actor for Megatron and to make the info more better after doing a bit of researching of why he didn’t voice Megatron in the Cybertron Games for what I know and this may not be true but High Moon may have asked Frank if he was interested in voicing Megatron in war for Cybertron but he turned the offer down due to his age or he wasn’t interested in voicing Megatron for another transformers game so they got Fred Tatasciore to do the voice instead. now I don’t hate welker here but I do like Tatasciore voice more but yes I do agree with you welker was fantastic
@@thegamerman1097 This does not make any sense. Welker has continued to voice Megatron in many instances both before and after Fall Of Cybertron. He was literally voicing Megatron in TF: Prime at this same point. He doesn’t pass up to play as one of his most iconic characters. He loves the role just as Peter Cullen loves his.
Frank Welker DID get auditioned for the role of Megatron in the Cybertron games, but the directors felt like his voice didn’t fit their interpretation of Megatron. They wanted someone with a more deep, booming voice as opposed to the raspier, cunning take by Welker. So no, it wasn’t a matter of Welker not wanting to do the role. It’s all BS IMO, Welker should always be Megatron.
To be fair each time I hear the OG Megatron voice I just ask how much water does he need or just how does he not cough like grievous
