How many charcoal briquettes (Hot Shots, Heat Beads, Weber) do I use when cooking in my camp or dutch oven? It does not have to be complicated! - Jak na to + styl
Fantastic video Thank you 😊
Really fantastic vid mate , straight to it no bulls-t , loved it subscribed, cheers from Perth W.A
Thank you
Cheers for the info mate. I found an old no name Weber kettle on the side of the road. It was missing the top grill but I found a brand new one at the Coles car park, sheer luck. It’s not a perfect fit but it’ll work. I bought it home, tightened/replaced screws, gave it a wash, put some washers either side of the wheels and gaffa taped the lid handle together.
My daughter and I found a shopping bag full of heat beads years ago, I knew there was a reason I hung onto them.
CZcams is fantastic for info, I would’ve stuffed it up right royally, had an inferno going.
I think I have enough heat beads for 10 BBQ’s.
Can’t wait to try it out.
Nice tip thanks
Can you do a video tour of your camp kitchen/shed? It looks amazing!
Not much to see, it's pretty simple. But just for you, I can do it when I get a chance. Busy at the moment - lots going on.
Mate, that was awesome. got a new subscriber. Cheers Mate
I have a big problem with them going out doesn't matter which brand, I leave them in the chimney for about 45 mins too
Your problem sounds like moisture or lack of oxygen. If they get at all damp, they can perform poorly. If they're not getting enough oxygen, like any fire, they'll go out. Hope this helps and let me know how you're getting on.
My camp oven is off the ground put coals on top and under same outcome.
All that sounds good, but maybe they got damp - how/where are you storing them?

sounds like they've got damp somewhere along the line. Contact Hotshots and discuss the problem with them - they are good to deal with
