We're back from Europe and ready to get back into RV life and continue our second loop around the United States. However, getting back into the swing of things after leaving our RV in storage is taking a little bit more effort than we anticipated. RV maintenance is a never-ending process, but we love it.

Get a good mattress protector so that awesome bed lasts long! (Keeps dead skin and sweat salt from accumulating in your bed- also keeping it from getting heavier thru the years)

Love your adventures. Quick tip on lighting the water heater and refrigerator on gas. Light the stove burners first and get the gas running through the lines. Then shut them off and light the HW or Frig. Both have safety switches to stop igniter if gas isn’t detected.

I think we need to look into a new rv mattress... Great to see those dampnrid buckets work pretty well. We use them too, but Ontario isn't as humid as Florida!!

Beat it with all that ratcheting , get yourself a cordless drill with a socket adapter with a couple of 20v batteries. Ryobi would work for you.

Dudes... haha... save yourself the $300 and buy a $20 rinse wand. Attach to hose and use with every black tank dump. Once a monrh, after dumping tank, close wastegate valve, fill black tank completely with fresh water, add a treatment, & let sit overnight. Next day, dump and rinse w/wand again. With this routine I eliminated virtually all residual odor and my sensors work A LOT better. So easy to do and that clean feeling is priceless.
I could never kill the black tank smell until i used bleach, add 1 or 2 cups, fill the tank, dump & rinse..
The nest you discovered under your RV looked like a mud dauber nest. It's a type of non-stinging wasp that's super common in Florida. They are pretty benign but will leave dried mud nests all over the place. And...they actually eat spiders!
Lmao 🤣🤣🤣 you guys are a trip. We have keep our TT in storage for 8 months and when we go for our yearly camping season we have found nothing wrong with the TT. Oh I forgot about that we live in Florida fulltime

Healthy Tanks in FL is awesome. They will do a professional flush for both black and grey tanks for 300. My tank sensor was mis reading and their flush fixed it.
300$..lol.. buy the tank wand for 20$ and a little bleach, do it yourself.. add bleach into your fresh water fill, then fill the water tank, let it sit for an hour, then turn on the pump and open each faucet for 20 seconds, run the toilet until the water tank is empty, now your black tank is full or close to it, put the wand on the end of a garden hose, stick it down the toilet, turn it on, open dump valve and rinse for a few min.. done

I once had the same tow behind… i left it for three months….. massive snake in it when we came back to it. slid up under the sink and legit couldn’t get it. Never know what happened to it. Just said well, if it slithers on us why we sleep we are selling it. haha

Usually around a 3 weeks to a month Joseph except for peak summer. For Florida we’ll book 3-4 months out because it’s so popular. Hope that helps!

Me and my wife a just about to buy a brand new travel trailer and we no for a fact that one of the first upgrades will be a mattress. Brookyn bedding looks pretty nice and we are considering this brand. Your video may have convinced us to go with it. By the way what was that tape you were putting on the roof seam and why where you doing it?
