The emotion in her voice, and the words she sings... it's overwhelming! I seriously don't know why she's not up there with all those famous people! I guess real music just doesn't get up there that often. Shame. She's the most amazing singer I've ever heard!
I would kill to have a voice like hers. She doesn't JUST sing. She puts emotion and feeling in all of her music. It makes you feel exactly what she is singing about. She is phenomenal :)

This song is so rich, and this has mostly to do with her amazing vocal quality; the emotion and passion in her voice is so welcoming and aproachable. Soft, smokey and warm is how I'd describe her voice. Pretty!

Not the majority, but I have noticed a lot of my little brother's friends really like bands like Bon Iver, Ray Lamontagne, The Civil Wars, Blackmill, Veela, etc.. These kids are like, 17-19 y/o, and not total geeks(FTR, I never admitted that), so maybe there is a lil bit of hope. It'd be nice to see a generation where individuality was recognized and mass production set to the side.
