Yes the wages are very low … in 2014 I was paid $7.43 hr to work the front desk at Claire Chapin, Epps YMCA so I left that job to work at Elliot Beach rentals and was paid closer to $12 an hour

This video spoke to me and popped up on my timeline. I am a 31 y/o single mom to a toddler. I work remote with no interest in going back to an office. its too taxing in my body and mental health . Two years ago I took a coordinator position and left my leadership career pathway. Game changer to my quality of life! I love it! but you said a word about the pay differences and lifestyles. When I become a mom I was chasing the $$ to provide for us now I have a decent salary I don’t want to chase money or burn out my life. Thank you for your channel. You’re mentoring and helping others like my self . I am listening 💜💜💜

Hi Sheila, I am a new subscriber and I have been enjoying your channel! South Carolina is also my home. I am about 60 miles from Myrtle Beach. My daughter graduated from Coastal Carolina U and was also employed their for over 6 years. I can also relate to what you are saying about the job frustrations. I have also been in a similar situation where I actually took a pay cut because I was so fed up with a previous job. I have now found a position that I love. I 100% agree that happiness and peace of mind is worth more than money! Happy that you have found a place you enjoy working!
Congratulations on your new job. I work with kids in transportation with schools. I love it and my free summers to travel. Love the morning 4 . hour breaks We still work 36-40 hrs a week. Was retired and hated the free time. Going back into retirement next year.

Happy wife happy life. I like your large “walk in” closet. I’m jealous. If you have to work it’s a bonus to like your work and co workers. I work remote for a hospital so socializing is limited. I do like my work though. I’m going to cut back and hopefully retire within the next year. A little nervous about choosing Medicare plans though. As always I enjoy your visits.
