- I've played with Koops' Harry Potter Editor too much... It's still work in progress. I prefer Hogwarts from Chamber of Secrets so I decided to move HP1 to there!
NOTES:
- In 12:17 I had trouble with the doors, hence the jump in the video.
- Glitching in the video is caused by my recording software.
This Map Pack currently includes:
- Main Hall (Begins from Great Hall)
- Grand Staircase (Transfiguration and Charms)
- "Spell Challenge" (Avifors & Wingardium Leviosa)
- Main Hall (Great Hall & Grounds accessible)
- Grounds (Door to Herbology closed)
- Broomstick Practice (From the HP1)
- Grounds (Herbology lesson)

Though smaller in scale, the PC versions had a superior atmosphere when compared to their console counterparts.
holy shit dude this is the best thing i have ever seen, harry potter 2 remasterd in harry potter 1. awesome man! i love the harry potter games so much but i have never seen a custom map this good.
We need a fan remaster of this game!

not gonna lie i got here when i was looking at the HP CoS and i didnt read the title and for a long time (before quidditch training) i tought that was a realy cool HP CoS mod :D great work! you got a sub

I think I'm on an island here. This is just a reminder of how much I prefer the first game to the second. Everything is so long in the second game, but Hogwarts itself feels so small. I like how HP1 isn't open world. I feel like that allows the castle to feel enormous without feeling the obligation to tediously traverse it for every secret passage. I also liked how the challgenes in the first game were smaller and more platforming. Seeing HP1 on the HP2 maps just reminds me of how tedious some of the levels are. I'm good with never again shoving a slug into a container.

I never liked HP 1 & for many yrs I couldn't win over final Quirell/Voldermort battle, and then when I finally managed, I was so disappointed that after it you can't do anything!!!
Second, both HP 1 & 2 had Minerva, but she was more a decor professor than a teacher with a lesson. Seeing Transfiguration class & learning of Avifors (I thought it was only made for PS version of the game) - my heart melted
at 14:15 where did you find that cute bunny? I must have it, I want to Edit one of the maps and when I do this I will and shall put hundreds of bunnies within! Please! Must have bunny.

If someone managed to import all of Philosopher's Stone into the Chamber of Secrets engine, that would be awesome. It's just a dream though.

Frankly, that's a very good idea : HP1 was good but it lacks the open world style of HP2

You should rip the soundclip for Harry shouting "Avifors !" either from the PS1 version, or from the 2nd game for PS2, if you can. Other than that, this looks pretty rad !

They used same Unreal Engine 1 on both games.

1:12 Wait, is that music used somewhere in the vanilla game? Either it's a lower pitch or a unused track, I love it! This is what I want to do (if the program would recognise the 227i patch of unrealGold, been working on that all day, no success)
The game sometimes plays music in lower pitch, dunno why
+blizmed As far as I know, it's just a glitch. It's super unpredictable, though, like you never know when the music is going to play in a lower key like that. And there's no way to fix it, at least not that I know of.
Eric Young That has never happened to me, so that's why I was wondering if it was a glitch or a modified/unused track.
This guy could fall from a 1000m high platform and he wouldn't break any legs. :D
