Yo Baby! Berks, you da man! Thank you for helping me out. You flamed them in the air and I flamed them in global chat. They couldn't pirate me or shoot me down because of your help. They did follow me to NB and rammed my C2 while I was in the Commons selling my load. The knuckleheads were so bad, they missed me completely a few times. It took them about 15 minutes to destroy my ship (and get a crime stat). But not before I sold the shipment. I made a profit, and you made my day! I was just telling my orgmates that I had seen a previous video you made, helping a fellow space trucker, then here you are talking to me through my windshield...lol We have been talking about this for awhile now. I posted you vid in our Discord. Hope you get a bunch of hits on it! Thanks again! See you in the 'verse.

I'm all for piracy, even as a trucker myself, but I hate people following you and trying to ram in an armistice zone where there'd be zero profit for them to get out of it.
I had a similar, but less objectionable experience the other day:
A guy try to pirate me on my way out if SMO-18 (he was in a Talon and I was solo in my MSR) I just about made in into QT before he could pop me but when I arrived at NB he'd followed me and tried to land next to me at the commons. So I headed for the spaceport instead, but this guy follows me there too and actually lands in my hangar with me so that he could hop on board as soon as I opened my ramp ... luckily the bugged landing services came to my aid and impounded me, so I was fine, but still this shows why we need that new "trespassing on ships" that CIG have now delayed till an unknown date 😅
As a pirate who considers it my primary income, I find ramming distasteful and petty. The recent pirate rush also means that 90% of the pirates you run into are utter trash. IMO they should remove armistice zones because all they seem to do is encourage ramming. That aside, I always enjoy a good fight and more traders ought to bring escorts. It only takes one or two guys to completely distract a larger group of pirates so you can get away.

We do whenever someone puts it in global, but for some reason people stay quiet while being pirated.

Make it profitable. But also, traders are dumb and never ask for help. 99% of them are totally silent while getting killed without so much as asking in global for help.

Hay Berks, I noticed that OGDankerz was in that pirate group. He was in a group of greifing stream snipers who I ran into over the weekend. For a period of 3 to 4 hours they (with LuciSfer who is the leader of GreifersNET) harrased, pad rammed and stream sniped a streamer who I was flying with. And afterwards accused the streamer on their stream of some of the nastiest things he could, just to get a 50 second video. The video was removed off their stream by CZcams.
That mid-air kill on that guy who ejected was great! That OGdankerz guy seemed pretty salty since it seemed like he rammed that C2 to try to destroy it, lol.
Anti-piracy videos are so much more entertaining than watching 10 pirates target a guy in a C2. Lol.

Yeah, it sucks that pirates organize so well whilst traders keep running around like they're in a single player game :(
Traders should be able to hire bodyguard services. Maybe a 20 percent of the daily income or some flat rate per day
@@fabianlmorel-ramos6324 Problem with trading is it's not lucrative enough to hire an escort and still make a reasonable profit.
@fabianlmorel-ramos6324 the organization I'm in, which is a mining org, is allies with another org that we pay to run security for us while we are out doing our thing.

I still hate that ejection seats don't have parachute or descent thrusters.
It is par for the course though almost 0 thought was put into any aspect of how anything was supposed to work in Star Citizen.

@@FunkThompson yeah I'm aware he does pirating as well but I'm all for PvP gameplay. I'm just not for griefing. Berks at least seems to have the intention of making it fun for everyone. It sucks to be pirated but it's much better when it's actually pirating and not just murder.

I just ordered a full set of Virpil joysticks, throttle, and rudder controllers. Will be ordering Tobi eye tracking soon. The pirates have had it too easy or so it seems. They need to learn that there is risk in piracy… The next thing I will need to do is train and train.
I got all that and still suck in df :) I'm a pro in heli in BF3 though ..and that thing I fly with keyboard-only :/
You killed GrieferNet, they don’t pirate just pad ram, combat log and gang. LuciSfer is an alt of Sfer.

Man I love being a Hull-C trucker. You just go between stations (Arm-zones). Just spool QT at the station and jump to the next. You never get shot by pirates. Maybe rammed, but never happened to me. Life in the Hull-C is good.
Thankfully there are people like you in the game a few hours ago I lost 700k of cargo because of pirates

I don't understand why there are so many piracy videos and almost no anti-piracy videos. I found this way more entertaining and satisfying than watching a group of guys in a mantis and a bunch of fighters picking on solo cargo haulers who cant defend themselves.

I got 20 hours in star citizen. Mad respect to you and those that protect against piracy. Havent run into it myself, but i also dont fly anywhere as good as you. Done about 3 missions transporting random boxes, maybe once i have something worth stealing then maybe i will get targetted.

Stealth Mega Ghost Hornet is OP. That pilot didn't have it or what it took to handle the strengths of the hornet generally. He was flying it like a light fighter with no buff. Note: Berks is likely a way better pilot than me. Me getting up those strengths a bit lately probably wouldn't keep me alive against him.

we need more people doing this, there's a ton of pirate groups out there we need some organized security groups out there to combat them!

This video shows how badly we need a parachute type feature. Doesn't help to have soft death if we just die when we get to the ground.

Now this is the kind of gameplay I want to see.
As a cargo runner, I had to develop as sorts of tricks and none were reliable. My fav is always carrying a railgun but only works when drug running. Still nothing better than catching an overconfident rat with a surprise as soon as I step out of the hab. Next is if interdicted - set cruise on the Juimp point and race to a turret. No one expects it, so I almost always get a salvo on target. Been working on my dogfighting and I would join any group that is doing protection.
Good work. Love the always impressive thinking of CIG. Put in ejection seats with zero way to actually survive an ejection.
The guy, OGdankerz: Ran into him in the same server for a few times. He is just a rammer, who annoys people for a living
as a victim of pirates i totally agree that its great to have a few brave pilots willing to kick some pirate butt. my skills as a pilot are very poor. i would love to learn how to be a better pilot so i could help make the verse a safer place. thanks for being a good guy.
The arrow is no joke - fun little ship.
Today I had a full load sitting on the pad with a vanguard hovering around. I decided just to sit in the cockpit and wait until he got bored and left. He flew right up to my window and started ramming me to get me to take off. I had to set up my jump point...move power to boosters and shields and run for it. Lucky he was by himself and couldn't take me out before I was able to quantum out. I'm thinking anti-pirate might be a good activity to pick up.

Challenge: do bounties or piracy but only defeat enemy by boarding and pvp directly if the enemy ship allows... might need a team for that..

As a trader my self, I love you brother I have no dog fighing skills and am bullied and alwase at the mercy of savage pirates looking to ruin my day I appreciate you.
I love that this is now a game play loop so many times I’ve been attacked and lost my cargo usually mining. It would be awesome for someone to come to my aid once in a while when I get better at flying I’ll help other people out.
After sitting down for a nice family dinner and watching this video 31x with my entire family I can confirm that this is yet another Berks Classic 💯👌🏻
I got the game and did a mission. I landed and saw someone land near me. Knowing that they're gona kill me, i ran to my ship with my hands shaking. It felt like forever opening my ship after finding the small open button with my mouse then took another forever to close it. Felt the real fear of being ganked.
10/10 game.
Should add another "profession" with Militaries on different planets and then different Pirate divisions. Being a better Pirate lowers your military reps, strengthens that tasks pirate division the most and gives a small boost to other pirate divisions. Vice Verse for Militaries.
Better pirates can get higher value tasks and discounts on pirated items in pirate trading areas. Better soldiers get more money per pirate kill and discounts on refueling/re-arming or something small but signifcant to soldiers and all the travelling they do
Oh.. "OGdankerz" is for SURE a rammer. You could see it in the way he flies. He tried to ram you too in the first fight.
I've seen OGdankerz flying their hornet ghost pirating a lot lately, and yes they use ramming tactics and just respawn again lol. Good hunting out there!

I thank you sincerely for doing what you are doing, the sociopaths calling them selves pirates do really ruin an entire aspect of this game. The punishments for piracy in SC needs to be near impossibly stiff. Immediate cs5 if prosecuted by the player they torment

The main reason ppl not having fun fighting against pirtaes ist that in 99% of the time you are chasing them for an hour just to let them log off at some time.
We need a call to arms type contract available for crime stat players, so hunting pirates can have some sort of income

I'm new to the game, and I'm finally getting better at dog fights. Missiles might be the most satisfying thing ever when they hit.
berk gg definitely seeing it from a vid perspective, but we actually started the game with the intent of getting an Idris to spawn then a series of unfortunate luck led to the crime stat which then we leaned into to get a uee Idris to spawn instead of doing the Arlington mission since it spawns at a level 5 crime stat lol

Just want to put a shout out to the the wanted mantis and his homie in an arrow that pulled my fully crewed hammerhead out of quantum. It was entertaining.
And I had no Idea this would all start at one of premiere places people go to test salvage and do the derelict settlement which is currently the highest traffic area in the entire game. Who knew at the pigeon hole you would find pigeons amazing. This is super scripted all those "pirates" just waited for you to 1v1 them lol.

Civilian ships need AI turret control, it will help deter piracy. As it is now, many of the 'trade' ships have weapons that can't be used without multicrew, but most of the people doing trades are solo, and are consequently 'under-gunned'.
i agree but i think its the way SC want it unfort. for me it is way to easy to get into the ships / or destroy them with this little fighter.
first time playing was a week ago and pretty much every time I land on a planet or moon doing low level package pickups theres 2 or three ships waiting to blow me up :(

If my game ran this smooth and the servers were this stable, I would also love PvP. Fought some bounty hunters today, they just stood still on my screen, and after dumping 5 mags into their heads I just die out of nowhere and they are on me

i use to play pirate only from 3.16 to 3.19... and its nice to see people are finally fighting back rather than complain and screaming "griefers"
well, you can be sure. IF the game ever releases and this is still possible, it will get an elitist playerbase like EVE. And Eve realy struggles

@@seth.willis. Dude, CCP is still in Big financial troubles. The biggest Problem Eve and ITS devs are facing is the elitist playerbase that Likes to gank especially in people that cant fight Back. This is hurting New Players and at the Same time the devs because of lower amounts of memberships. Sure they get 1.2mio Dollar the month for subscriptions, but its not enough to have enough Money for new Projects on the Same Level. Remember: Eve is 20 years old.

I actually ran into Renz the other night in chat, he was in an org fight over Ghost Hollow so I guess the traders got some breathing room. Glad I know to stay well away from him lol
I think it's time for the devs to start trying to implement parachutes in the game for pilots. At least once you land you can still call fir help instead of just dieing. I don't mind having to pay for them with in game currency, he'll we buy everything else😅😅😅

How do you keep the Arrow so steady? When ibfky in atmo it behaves like a angry horse.
he keeps it mostly at SCM speeds (below the red line of the limiter)
That makes it so handling it significantly easier.
are you talking in global voice chat with the c2 or is this another voip channel? Is there a way to voip proximity or local?
