this switch is energy efficient, packed with features, and its made by Cisco. I am planning on getting one of this in 2024 to replace my 3750-E. somehow, this switch is still under Cisco support until 2027. Since it's widely used by data center, this switch is insanely cheap now. but the only problem I have with it is that it doesnt really looks that great, especially when compared with the 2960L. But anyway, I think im gonna get one, cause this one save so much energy. I was wondering, can you get software update from Cisco for free?

You can get updates, but not "officially" but you can search around with the file you need, that is what I did.

Would this Cisco be a good use for a free home switch or is a more modern/noob friendly switch? I don't really want to have to do a bunch of troubleshooting or configuration

UnFi is still easiest for Consumer configuration. if you use a Switch AP and devices. I am just not a fan of a 1 year warranty

@@EricTechstuffs I can't believe my 3750-E lasted so long, I brought it used (assuming previously owned by datacenter), it was released back in 2006 and it's still alive in 2024 OMG. but its not the same case for Cisco AP, for 3 years, I already have one failed ._.
