This video consists of three parts.
a) Skaros is a non metrical instrumental improvisation which represents sounds and habits of pastoral life, like bells ringing, sheep bleating as well as common sounds of shepherds and sheep dogs.
b) The Epirus feast always begins with “miroloi” both in the case of a wedding or a baptism event. This can be described as an honor to people that have passed away or to people that used to participate in the feast, but now have immigrated abroad. Miroloi here, can be described as an instrumental improvisation, which employs a pentatonic mode and represents the traditional laments song at funerals.
c) Giatros (doctor) is one of the most well known songs from the region of Epirus .
