@tacfoley I think that's because this is the Infrared version which now has a recoiling barrel. I believe the airsoft version still has the unrealistic recoil of the whole tank body.
@@forwardobserver1 No, there is a switch in the MFU on Taigen V3 which if turned off, it completely disables the track recoil. This hasn't to do anything with airsoft or IR.

It is my understanding that the airsoft versions on this particular model do not have presently have a recoiling barrel function If this is correct then turning off the track recoil means that there would be no recoil animation at all with the airsoft version. Is this correct?
@@forwardobserver1 Yes, that's correct if you get a tank that only has track recoil and nothing more. Torro (the EU distributor of taigen tanks) started releasing tanks that have both airsoft, barrel recoil AND cannon smoke coming off at the same time. There is a timing issue but I think they will fix it sometime. If you disable the track recoil, it will just stop the track recoil, nothing more. Also track recoil helps airsoft version tanks to reload a BB easier.
Just bought this I’m having a lot of trouble opening the HULL. I’m sliding the latch to the left but the HULL would not lift. Would you have any advice? Thanks
