A rewatch with the subs is worth in my opinion because the special clips are made very literally off the lyrics of the song but initially just to hear the music is great so I get it

If it's recent, yeah. But you really can't identify members by hair colour unless you know _when_ the video is, too. SuA's had purple hair in the past, so has Siyeon (though both very dark purple, not as vibrant as JiU's; I think I recall her saying it had to be bleached about 7 times, then dyed about 3 to get that colour...).

if you just want to get to know the individual members, try 'this is (member name)' series by insomicsy. they are about 7 minutes each and mostly contain funny clips of their personality with minimal music spoilers. I know a lot of people will recommend the ultimate guide to dreamcatcher but imo that is way too long and half of the 40 odd minutes are music spoilers to a lot of their songs. might as well just continue doing 1-2 title tracks/special clips at a time.
The music was created by LEEZ and Ollounder, but I can't think of any other group that could perform it the way Dreamcatcher do. It really was a match made in heaven; one of those happy accidents that happen sometimes in the music world where songwriters and performers fit together perfectly.

I bought their recent mini album. They are definitely underrated.
Please give a try to listen their other albums too. Basically there is no any bad songs released from them so far. (Well, at least for me 😆)

I think you'd really like the "This is..." series by Insomnicsy. A seven minute video for each member that gives you a bit of information at the beginning and then has a well edited compilation of clips that showcases their personalities.

For short guides the best one I know of is "A Spicy Guide to Dreamcatcher" by multi serendipity, there are a couple of music spoilers in it but nothing too long. It should give you all the info you need (Roles, age etc.) along with a few funny moments of each member. If you want to see more crackhead energy then the "This is ____" series from insomnicsy is the place to find it, they also have a bunch of other crack/funny moments videos on their channel and are one of the best fanmade content channels for dreamcatcher.
As for music, I know you've been liking the rock vibe so you could really pick any of their title tracks or jp songs and find something you like there. Some bsides with rock sounds include "Wake up" "mayday" "Diamond" "the curse of the spider" and "tension", also some of their covers take the original song and completely redo the instrumentals to sound more rock, "Lucky strike" and "there's nothing holdin me back" come to mind. For other genres, their other bsides are extremely varied, from RnB to reggae to ballads to jazz and EDM, dreamcatcher tackle a huge variety of genres and do each of them very well, I personally always recommend their first full album "Dystopia: The Tree of Language" as a good starting point to discover how varied their music styles can be.

The special clips are awesome as you say! absolutely love dreamcatcher they are fun and different. The problem with the guides is the best ones are long (like 40 mins) but they are funny. Just as an out there recommendation of dreamcatchers can i suggest "jazz bar"
