I surprised my now wife with a birthday meal at V&A's where the staff helped me to propose to her by bringing out the ring set in a Cinderella glass slipper made out of fondant and chocolate served on a silver platter with the words "Will you marry me" spelt out in chocolate. I even had to secretly send out my suit and her dress with a couple of friends that were out there at the same time just to make sure she didn't see them in the suitcase. It was such an amazing and unforgettable experience and I can't wait until we can go again.
This is so random, but you two are the most humble couple ever. Your CZcams success never changed you. Please don't ever change that. You're genuinely a really sweet, caring, respectful couple. God bless!
Finally figured out what makes their vlogging style so different & why I like watching them so much even if it’s about something I’m not really interested in. They really talk to the camera like they are talking to an actual person, with all the eye contact & how they word everything & explain stuff. Love it. I feel like I’m hanging out with them
Excellent tip to just plain ask. Most people don’t eat like this every day, or ever, and aren’t trained (99.9999 of us?) so the staff at a posh place are there to help you feel comfortable and really enjoy yourself. If we take the dive for such a fancy meal, we should never feel intimidated :) Otherwise why go?) Plus there aren’t really rules. They’ll take your fork & bring a new one whichever you use! We’ve been to some great places now (bit older ) and I do get a little nervous still, but just decide to relax. A glass of wine helps! One day we’ll get to go out again, and I’m sure we’ll get more enjoyment out of it than we ever have before 😊 Prob never to somewhere this pricy tbh! But no criticism at all, glad you did it for you & for all of us.
I've eaten here twice. You have to remember you're paying half for the food and half for the experience. Little touches like we got the same butler team ( you have two for your table alone) the second time, they keep that sort of records. I got brought reading glasses because I couldn't see the menu. After we ordered wine they left me the huge iPad wine list to 'play 'with. They are funny and friendly and not at all like 'posh' waiting staff in the UK. I loved it and I will go again when I can afford it. Remember the tip is still expected to be around 20% - that's going to be the equivalent of a full meal for two in other eateries!
Too expensive? Yes, but those ripping them for spending that much get a grip. I'd probably never go but enjoyed getting to see this place. Let a couple enjoy an uber fancy dinner and take us for the ride.
I agree, plus, this is their career. It only makes sense to frequent the higher end places as well. It just helps to round out their channel if they're going to be vloggers with a concentration in Disney. I would never go there because my husband is a meat and potatoes kind of guy, he'd laugh at edible art, but I totally loved the video.
Those who are ripping them for spending that much are probably jealous because they can't afford it. It's probably the proverbial "green-eyed monster" coming out.
why would they rip them? they make more money from the earnings of the video than the meal cost plus a a fan paid for it in the fist place, its in the description.
As someone who could not afford this, and as someone who (like Tim and Jen) is happiest in my non-fancy skin, I have to agree with this. If my husband and I had the opportunity to do this, just once in our lifetimes, despite it being totally not "us," I'd absolutely love it because it'd be a fantastic memory and an experience we've never had before and would never have again. Given the purpose of this channel, I think it was an absolutely brilliant idea to do a video here, especially as the vast majority of Disney vlog channels have not. Besides, who are we to say how anyone should spend their own money?
Wow! You two looked lovely. Jenn, that dress is so flattering on you and your makeup was gorgeous. Tim, you looked spiffing in that suit! Hope you guys had a wonderful evening ❤️
I just have to say this in the many years I've been watching . I think this is really beautiful a married couple spoiling themselves as much as they give us viewers it's nice to see they did something for themselves ❤️👍
It’s funny, but I heard that when I was a child, it’s stuck with me, and has turned out to be remarkably correct over the years, to the point where it appears that I actually know what I’m doing from the outside! Hilarious! Can attest, is true. 😂
VICTORIA AND ALBERT'S: Enjoy this three and a half hour journey for your palette at this AAA Five Diamond Award® recipient since 2000. ME: Pecos Bill's plate of nachos loaded up at the toppings bar, eat it in 20 minutes, then back into the park because I got a fastpass for the Jungle Cruise. I'm kidding and I'm not making fun of anyone who would go here at all. I appreciate you guys taking us along, not sure I would ever see the inside of this place were it not for videos like this. Glad you two had a good time!
I loved how you filmed this in two settings. I really enjoyed how you explained your meal, your likes and dislikes of the meal ....outside the restaurant.... where we could hear you better. Loved that you took a few days before you told us your opinions My husband and I had our first very expensive meal at Remy's on our Disney Cruise. We did NOT enjoy our experience! The server pressured us to upgrade and we said no ... she was NOT happy w us!
"If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings-nor lose the common touch...." I think a human should experience everything in the spectrum from dining street food at Mumbai to having the most expensive dinner in one's lifetime. The energy of the couple was great - curious, humble and friendly- and the video was cool. Sometimes when you try these things, since you are not used to it it feels suffocating. But loved the overall vibe!
My wife and I went there for our honeymoon. Beforehand we joked that the food would be so small that we'd have to go out and get pizza after. NOPE! We were stuffed just like Tim and Jenn. I got what is probably the best dessert I've ever had in my life, a Hawaiian Kona chocolate souffle. We loved it so much that I surprised her on her 30th birthday with a dinner there. Too expensive to go often, but it's amazing and definitely worth the experience and wonderful food at least once. PS: We don't live locally, so smuggling an entire outfit for her along with my suit was a part of the plan. It was very involved. lol
That was so sweet! That's almost on the level of smuggling an engagement ring down to WDW without your significant other seeing it. We feel the same way. We might go on our 10 year anniversary buuuuuuuut there are other things that might win out for us. Like staying at the Contemporary. Our favorite restaurant outside of that is California Grill. We'll probably end up doing that instead.
Mmmm... We went to the California Grill on our honeymoon as well. Fantastic food and view, haven't made it back unfortunately. One of my other favorites is at GF too, Narcoossee's. Best steak I've ever had. :)
Bonnie, great minds think alike! I used the word smuggling as a quick description for brevity's sake. Now you are getting the full story. MWAHAHAAA! lol What I had actually done was purchased a full outfit for my wife. All with a 40's/50's retro flair. Dress, shoes, vintage 1930s gloves, a clutch, a custom made pillbox hat with mickey, and a pearl necklace (single pearl "wearing" a silver mickey hat). Yes, I got all the sizing right. :) All that, plus my suit was packed with her sister who was there with her family at around the same time and they were staying at a separate resort. I surprised her with a trip to the spa at the Grand Floridian for a massage and facial. Picked up the dress and delivered it for her to get dressed when finished. The dress had a note attached telling her where we were going for dinner. After dinner we then spent the evening dressed to the nines playing mini-golf with her family (I also made sure to bring her some flats). It was a blast and I have literally no idea how I made it in time. I think I opened some kind of magical Disney time vortex. Oh, and I even planted a whole fake day of plans in our travel planner to avoid her getting suspicious. :D
that's on the low end without wine pairing. With tip last time for me was about 850; and it still can drastically be more than that depending on how many courses.
Lastly, fact that you were respectful of other diners while doing your vlog, shows that you have more than enough class to dine in Victoria & Albert’s. Great post.
That part confused me, it was great it was simply a cell phone, no light was on, they were speaking in hushed tones, but if I go to a place that has a dress code (of that nature, not just shoes and shirt :D), has prices like that, and is as exclusive as it seems, I don't want to see anyone being a "foodie" video taping everything if they're within eye shot of me, and as a result I would think they would have a policy about that sort of thing.
Went when I was a month pregnant. Immediately threw up everything we ate right after. Lol. Still a wonderful experience. Very unique. A family there paid for our entire meal since we were in our “bridal” attire and dress blues. Gobsmacked they did that. So thank you to that family. It’s been 10 years and I still am so grateful. There is a restaurant at the Floridian that has steaks that are almost just as good as V&A. I recommend going there if V&A is too fancy for you.
Well done! Normally, I find families/couples that do CZcams reviews really annoying and pretentious. Not so with the two of you! You are relatable and easy-to-watch. Thank you for your review.
Ahhh, you two looked so amazing together all dressed up in your formal wear. We have tried and tried to get reservations here for years. Impossible. Thank you for sharing your romantic dinner with us. From one Disney fanatic to another, have a magical day sprinkled with pixie dust! :-)
I also had a difficult time booking Victoria & Albert's. I got better results when I gave them the dates I would be available. They went through each day one by one looking for an opening. They found one and I got to enjoy this very special experience.
This popped up on my YT feed today. I needed to see this too. I work in the reservation office for V&A and we are still closed and I miss helping guests plan a splendid dinner.
I love experiences like this. It’s fun to get dressed up and have fancy food. And the wait staff is totally used to you not being used to the silverware or knowing what’s what. They won’t judge you for that. They are there to help. They know that not everyone spends this much on meals all the time. It’s usually the case that most people there usually don’t eat this fancy all the time. It’s usually more for people just having a special experience. So they are used to helping you decide and know what to use. I’ve been there and said “I’m sorry, but I’m not sure. What do you like?” They’re always really nice. And if they aren’t... you leave. That simple. There’s NO excuse for rudeness at ANY establishment you’re spending YOUR money at. But that RARELY happens.
I've watched you guys for about 7 or 8 years now. You have never been more adorable than this video. There is nothing more beautiful than both of your sense of honesty, and love for each other. Watching you experience that together honestly made it one of my favorite videos of yours. I've always wanted to eat there and now I know what to expect. Nothing but love to the both of you, forever and always. Cheers!
I used to be a chef at the Grand Floridian in this restaurant there is one change and one special location you missed. First when I worked there (18 years ago) there were NO PRICES on the menu - in other words if you have to ask you can not afford it. And second there is one special table that you have to get (IF YOU CAN!) it is called the CHEFS TABLE. Now it might sound strange but you actually sit in a special part of the KITCHEN! But though that might sound tacky the wonderful part is you get the EXECUTIVE CHEF of the restaurant or his next in charge and there is no menu. The chef you receive will ask you one or two questions and for the rest of the night (there is only 1 chef table per night) he is your personal chef. He decides the soup, salad, crudites, entree, desert, and after dinner cocktail, NOT to be forgotten is there is a wine chosen for each and every course prepared for you and the chef will explain what it is and why. (say that your salad needs a white wine because the greens don't taste exactly like the last batch that were picked that day (yes I said picked that day) so he will adjust the wine to suit the taste. OK least I back track. If you were awake when you entered the building you will have seen off to the left of the main door what looked like a lovely garden. It is not just for looks you will be eating it that night! There are no pesticides used and it is all ready to eat as picked. How is that done. Well everyday at 3 pm sharp some children are invited to preform a daily ritual. They are allowed to open canisters of fresh live lady bugs usually about 2,000 of them. They are the pesticide that is used all natural. OK so back to dinner I hope you get the chance to experience this very special treat, often it is booked out 6 months in advance. and you had better have a very high limit on your credit card because on average the price is $1000 per person OR MORE. Now you know how the 1% live at the Grand Floridian Bon Appetite
Thank you for sharing that information. I had no idea this existed. Interesting experience. From one Disney fanatic to another, have a magical day sprinkled with pixie dust! :-)
I love how you mentioned that you would never be able to eat here a few years ago and here 11 months ago you got to enjoy it. Now the two of you have a little man on the way!!!
Club 33 Executive platinum membership costs $30,000 per year- and carries a $100,000 initiation fee to be a member....so in comparison, $750 for Victoria & Alberts is a steal!!!
I always visit V&As every visit, and I am an amateur chef specializing in Victorian preparations. Your open attitude was absolutely fantastic! I so enjoyed your description of how you saw things and what you liked and didn't care for. Your wide-eyed wonder at being thrown so much at once just made me tear up; more people should approach it that way. I knew most of what you had, and I would have made one change for you. Go for the $100 Ossetra and skip the Japanese Kobe. The Kobe shipped to the US is frozen and that's the difference you noticed from the Japanese fresh. Overall, this is is video I could watch again and show some other people that an open mind can provide historical and culinary knowlege, albeit at a price. Thanks for your effort! (PS: Next time, go for the chef's table and get the next level!)
Me: (pushes menu to the side) I would like to have chicken nuggets with a side of your finest fries, please. Waiter: Ma' am, Im sorry but... Me: and a Caprisun, fruit punch. In the best crystal glass, please. Waiter: ....
I’ve eaten at Victoria and alberts twice. AMAZING experience and AMAZING food. I still dream about the lavender and mustard spatzle. They even made mushrooms taste good and I HATE mushrooms lol and they give you blankets to keep warm and pillows for back support and special clips or seats for your purse! well worth the money and I think every foodie/Disney lover should experience it at least once. Glad you guys got to enjoy it!
Hubby looking over my shoulder: $50 for Wagyu beef? That's pretty good for a meal Me: um no that's on top of the $235 cover charge Hubby:..... ....... ....we will never go there.
I went 15 years ago and I've thought about it randomly each year ever since. It always brings a crystal clear memory into my mind now and again when I eat out. To anyone who is questioning the price, I feel you. For me it ended up being justified because I very rarely remember the look of a restaurant (or anywhere lol) in the amount of detail that I did with this place- not immediately afterwards but cumulatively throughout my years. I remembered how the wait staff put me at ease, I remember the music, the tastes and smells and for whatever reason, this just stuck with me. So $750 for a picture perfect memory in my brain ended up being money well spent. I haven't been back to Disney in 15 years but it was the first reservation I made after booking the flight. I go next week!!
7 years ago when I proposed to my wife, we went to V&A as part of my plan to propose to her. Funny that you guys paid as much NOW for the regular room as I did for the Queen Victoria Room Special seating, service and menu! But we enjoyed our V&A dining experience and one day on our 20th anniversary (or sooner if funds and timing works out! The day we went there was a couple enjoying their 20th anniversary. ) we'll go again. It was worth every penny when we went and I savor the day we get to go again. Next time Chef's table!
When we first saw Jen we all said "OH MY GOSH - - LOOK AT JEN - - SHE IS SO PRETTY!!!!!" Jen, you are gorgeous!!! Our whole family likes to watch your videos every time one comes up. Tim you are a sharp dressed man too! Looked like such a fun time together. A SPECIAL meal. If I ever have extra money, I'd do it too. Thank you for sharing with us. We stayed at the Grand Floridian one year. It was an awesome experience. But we'd have to buy clothes to go to that restaurant. We don't own anything that fancy.
That was completely over the top and I'm so glad you guys took us along because there's no way I would ever feel comfortable in a place that fancy. It was so interesting to see the food and what you thought of it. I can't imagine it! Everything was so beautiful.
We've eaten there once - it was for our 10th anneversary - and was one of the best meals/experiences we have ever had. One of my favorite parts though was how down to earth the servers were - it wasn't hoity toity or anything, they really make you comfortable. We did have the added impact of the harp player, without requesting it or anything, playing our wedding song (The Luckiest by Ben Folds) and after we let our server know the harpist came over to chat with us and gave us a copy of her CD with the song on it - so that might be inflating our review a bit
Jenn has been looking absolutely gorgeous lately! I am not saying Jenn's looks determine her worth. She has just been radiating happiness and beauty and it makes me smile every time.
I'm glad the waiters/waitresses are nice about how to use the silverware. My girlfriend knows how to do all that fancy stuff, and lectures me all the time about it... Apparently, I embarrass her at restaurants lol
Y'all looked very nice all dressed up! And my jaw literally fell open when you gave the final total. Whoa!! I can get about 5 or 6 months of groceries for that much! And if I'm spending money at Disney, that would be my AP or 3-4 nights at a resort! That is some expensive food! Glad y'all got to go experience it, though! It did look very nice. Again, your reviews are top notch. Keep up the amazing work!
5 or 6 months of groceries? You should hire yourself out as a professional shopper. I'm assuming that's just one person, but still... $125 a month for groceries is crazy cheap! For my family of three we have a tough time staying under $400
Also the gooey wagyu is caused by the freezing and defrosting of the meat during transport. Obviously Wagyu eaten in Japan is much fresher so the meat is more structured. The way its prepared will also change it. Fun fact: The reason the Australian one is kobe-STYLE is because you can only call beef kobe if it is raised in the kobe prefecture in japan (much like how champagne is called sparkling white wine if it is made anywhere other than the champagne region in france)
The Treaty of Versailles was never ratified in the US. It was because of this, that the word Champagne continued to be used by American producers. It was so, until 2006 when the US and the EU signed a wine-trade agreement that closed that loophole for any new use of the word, along with others such as "Burgundy," "Chablis," but it did grandfather previous use.
'Nick and Sams' in Dallas imports A5 Wagyu from Japan. Usually 2 or 3 different prefectures and it is not 'gooey'. May be the specific cut, or something else. I will say I prefer Black Wagyu New York Strip. Perfect combination. A5 is almost too tender, you don't really chew, just .. experience .
My girlfriend and I went back in January. We had a blast, and we still talk about it even now! You two are a lot like my gf and I. I don't like seafood, my girl loves seafood. She has a smaller appetite, and, her palate isn't as refined as mine. She hit the wall right about where you did, at the beef course. But my Kobe beef (we also purchased that addon) was not gelatinous. It was, by far, the best beef we had ever eaten. The Australian beef landed at the second best, ever. For a once in a lifetime experience, yes, this is it. Another channel, DFB, actually said something in their video, yesterday, where Disney is where you can go to learn about new food, and you smacked that, too, about V&A, where you can learn about fine dining.
You two are so relatable that I loved watching this review. My husband and I dined at V&A Chef’s Table during our honeymoon September 2016 and it was incredible. We love fine dining and being able to interact with the chefs was an experience. After watching this - the chefs table is so laid back in comparison. I would definitely recommend trying to get a reservation for the experience. Love you guys thanks so much!
literally you two are the fittest couple! like omg look at you all dressed up! cute af :) Just realised this is like a 2yo video as well. It's only just come up on my feed soz
LOVED your review! Humility, awareness of other's experience, and the truth about your experience was absolutely GREAT to watch! Thank you for posting! ( new sub )
I adored eating there. The four hour meal was a 10 courses with wine parings. With tip/tax and everything was almost $500 just for me, but the experience was amazing. I loved that they could create fine dining experience for me with my allergies that was top notch. Gluten Free and they ade me 3 different course of bread as well. I was also wildly amused that when you go to the restroom, they not only fold your napkin, they get you a new one. I want to do the chef's table one day. A gal can dream, can't she?
TwilightSky15 I haven’t done the chefs table sadly. I think it was closer to 300 person and the wine pairings were another 150 or more. I am guessing someone else on here will know better than I.
ago Apparently your channel has been around awhile. I just discovered you! And am so glad I did! What a beautiful couple you are! So down to Earth yet sophisticated and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences. Very well done. You two should be on the food and travel channel. Very enjoyable to watch! Thanks and God bless!
My opinion. As to who corrected who ? Who cares. Some people need to Grow up ! And as to them spending there money they rightfully earned as well. Great for them ! They both are a absolutely adorable family with there new born son. And look absolutely wonderful all dressed up for a special evening like that one. I applaud them both for having the courage to try something new and learn from there experience. I also throughly love watching all of there video’s ! Especially being from a small country town on the Northeastern Coast line of Maine . Bravo Tim & Jen. And Thank you both so much for your time & efforts !
Yea for me one night out for two people at that place is my rent check the food looked good but in my opinion idk if 700 worth of food was on the plates it’s more like 200 in food and 500 in the atmosphere
This is likely the best restaurant review I have ever experienced. There are three typical types of reviewers; those who know food and are so conceited they think their opinion matters, those who think they know food but really don't, and those who have no taste. You guys obviously have taste, and your review was honsest and well grounded. Bravo!
Thanks for sharing your experience at the place where dreams come true, if your willing to pay. Lol I love how you took time in between the courses to give your take on the food that was served. I love the Grand Floridian and a great place to stay.
Expensive depends on the individual. I know a friend at work who was going to spend $500 for each family member to see the Denver Broncos play. I save up for years to visit Disney World.
I fully agree for most people , it’s wasteful to spend that much money just to say you have eaten at a very Elite and beautiful restaurant. I’m not impressed by the negative comments . It seems out of place in a restaurant like this.I don’t think the majority class of people dining here are going to be looking on You Tube to get your take in the food.
I just wanted to add, thank you for doing this. It was a bucket list item for me but seeing your experience made me realise how it’s probably too fancy for my palate too. Love you guys so much
I loved this so much, I find it funny that they are in a fancy af restaurant with fancy people and they there are in their table goofing about summoning a ghost with the candle😂😂
To everyone commenting that it's too expensive etc, it's a once in a lifetime experience. Obviously it's not somewhere you'd go all the time. You only live once.
Once in a life disappointment rather. I mean, the food is probably good, but definitely not worth of price... you could go on small trip for that price.
Too expensive doenst mean too much money. It means overpriced. And yeah.... you can have gourmet menu's at 3 star michelin restaurants around the world for way less. You are basically paying for Disney and to show off you can spend this much on a single meal. If you are really rich, great who cares. If this should be your once in a lifetime splurge on a fancy meal... poor choice to try to have that in a Disney resort.

Jen you are absolutely Gorgeous dressed up. Tim is Handsome!!!
I used to be a sous chef in France it is really nice how you guys put the comments on this one !!!. Right to the point and not mean ( if you don't like it it doesn't mean is bad) Well done guys !!! love your the critics !!!
By the way if you ever go to Paris let me know !!!

Just the idea of my Hubby Proposing in front of the 🏰 at MK was Magical for me!! Then we Celebrated the Proposal at Tony's. We then Honeymooned at DISNEY 2 yrs LATER. Ate at Narcooses and California Grill!! Love love love.
You guys look absolutely amazing! Doubt we’ll ever get to eat here so thank you so much for sharing!! PS - more videos with you two in formal wear please!!!
Jenn you look stunning! I pictured you walking in wearing a wedding dress, and the thought is pretty hilarious! This may be a little too fancy for me, and I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. But it does look very nice!
This is very detailed and your explanations of the various courses and their ingredients was awesome. I wouldn't have known what a great deal of that type of food was. I had an experience in New Orleans some years back, where nothing on the menu was put together in a way I recognized, so I decided on something that sort of sounded like a crab salad. The resulting dish wound up looking like a medium size spider on 3 or 4 slices of lettuce with a side of dressing that vaguely resembled Italian. I calmly set it aside, drank my iced tea and ate some delicious bread that looked like bread. My check was 51 dollars or so and I ve really never approached a restaurant quite like that again. I will forever have fine dining experiences vicariously through videos like yours. Thanks for sharing.
My wife and I died when it cut for a moment and Tim came back saying it's a 5 diamond restaurant. 🤣
Hey at least he listens to the wife, good husband right here
lol same here.
Yes that made me smile too!!
OMG Yeti yes! My husband and i did too!! Lol i was expecting the “ *narrator voice*” Clip from the last food and wine festival video. Lol
Yes! I got so tickled! 😁
Aww - how romantic. Good for you.
Keiran Morgan Dangg!! How magical, major point for you, guy!!
Keiran Morgan Wow what a dream proposal every girl would love to experience. Your wonderful!
That's awesome man! Good on you!
Aww such a magical moment!
This is so random, but you two are the most humble couple ever. Your CZcams success never changed you. Please don't ever change that. You're genuinely a really sweet, caring, respectful couple. God bless!
Agreed!
Uhmmm they went to a billion dollar restaurant so i dont really know what you mean with HUMBLE
TrueCrimeRIP meaning they didn’t rub it in everyones faces & admitted that it was too fancy for them.
Amanda Cobb they literally rubbed it into everyones faces by posting it on their channel?
TrueCrimeRIP posting a review & bragging are two different things in my opinion! but to each their own.
Finally figured out what makes their vlogging style so different & why I like watching them so much even if it’s about something I’m not really interested in. They really talk to the camera like they are talking to an actual person, with all the eye contact & how they word everything & explain stuff. Love it. I feel like I’m hanging out with them
Your right !!💕
Oh my gosh youre right! I never watch bloggers but I really enjoy watching these two
I laughed so hard at the beginning when Tim was corrected lol
I did too bahaha.
I'm glad they left that in
L. Kelley I don’t think he had a choice. She corrects him a lot.
I thought the same thing
Google corrected him.
When you don't know what utensils to use, always remember what Molly Brown told Jack on Titanic. "Just start from the outside and work your way in."
Must be nice...
Don't order iceberg lettuce.
Agreed. And the ingredients in the food isn’t Walmart crap either. So your paying for VERY high quality food served in tiny portions
@@princesse0920 They sell gourmet food and quality ingredients to make meals too at Walmart you know.
Two servers, that’s stunning
It was an eleven course meal. It's going to cost some money and it all looked delicious.
why would they rip them? they make more money from the earnings of the video than the meal cost plus a a fan paid for it in the fist place, its in the description.
MOM AND DAD LOOK AMAZING OH WOW
Katherine! Fancy seeing you here!
Omg my two fave channels together I'm gonna lose my mind 💖💖💖
Wow, I didn't know Katherine was a Tracker fan!
LOL I THOUGHT THE SAME THING
I don't know you liked the trackers!!!
Wow! You two looked lovely. Jenn, that dress is so flattering on you and your makeup was gorgeous. Tim, you looked spiffing in that suit! Hope you guys had a wonderful evening ❤️
I agree! :)
"Are you sure? I think we should Google that..."
"Victoria and Albert's is a FIVE diamond restaurant..."
Hahaha
HAHA I died laughing at this part
I wanna see Jenn's entire dress! The top part looked lovely!
2 years late, but it looks like the dress she got engaged in!
I just have to say this in the many years I've been watching .
I think this is really beautiful a married couple spoiling themselves as much as they give us viewers it's nice to see they did something for themselves ❤️👍
Which part ofvtge UK are you from? I'm from Sheffield.

Literally, the only life lesson that movie taught me.
It’s funny, but I heard that when I was a child, it’s stuck with me, and has turned out to be remarkably correct over the years, to the point where it appears that I actually know what I’m doing from the outside! Hilarious! Can attest, is true. 😂
YOU TWO ARE SO CUTE IT MADE ME CRY IDK WHY
You guys are honestly a super cute and lovely couple.
Ha! 20 minutes later because your park admission actually cost more than your meal... unlike those who are at Victoria and Albert's
Me every time! Always hit Pecos when we go!
surprisingly, I ate here a long while back (over 15 years); and after we finished, we went right into the Magic Kingdom in our jackets and dresses.
You guys look so good in your formal wear!!
me watching this eating a mcdonald’s cheeseburger: 👁👄👁
I’m eating McNuggets right now!!! 😅
🤣
Lmao
Jokes on you, I'm eating goldfish crackers
@@think.culture me too, pizza flavor
I admire how much you two admire one another. Wonderful couple. Great review.
23:55 Now it’s time to pay the price 💰😬
Scott S 😄😆
Hahaha. So true $$$$
LMFAOO 😂😂
😂
Like literally
Tim: “Its a 4 diamond restaurant”
Jen: “No its not”
*cuts to clip of Tim being corrected*
Too funny
It was so funny
😂
😂🤣😂
I would have liked to seen bruises on tims face as he says it's a 5 diamond restaurant... 😂😂😂
I loved how you filmed this in two settings. I really enjoyed how you explained your meal, your likes and dislikes of the meal ....outside the restaurant.... where we could hear you better. Loved that you took a few days before you told us your opinions
My husband and I had our first very expensive meal at Remy's on our Disney Cruise. We did NOT enjoy our experience! The server pressured us to upgrade and we said no ... she was NOT happy w us!
Sounds like your server was on ego trip
"If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings-nor lose the common touch...."
I think a human should experience everything in the spectrum from dining street food at Mumbai to having the most expensive dinner in one's lifetime.
MWAHAHAAA! lol
What I had actually done was purchased a full outfit for my wife.
lol Thanks. :)
@Bonnie S. Totally off topic, but I am curious of your last name. My maiden name is Bonnie Shumway.
Had to rewind that... $235.00 per guest!?!
Walt Disney himself better be bringing out my food & cuttin' my steak. Hahaha
They paid in total $750 for the meal...V&A ain't cheap
that's on the low end without wine pairing. With tip last time for me was about 850; and it still can drastically be more than that depending on how many courses.
Well he is dead so That might be hard.
That'll be really frightning..
they do cut your steak if you ask lol
I absolutely love the Disney songs played on the harp. 💗
Jenn’s makeup in this is stunning
Jenn! 👀 you look absolutely beautiful 💜
She looks like Scarlett Johansson
She's stunning!
Abi Lewis abi u look beautiful to me so....
Smokin hot XD
EnglishatHeart yeah I don’t think so
Lastly, fact that you were respectful of other diners while doing your vlog, shows that you have more than enough class to dine in Victoria & Albert’s.
That tomato water in Jenn’s dish is just the stuff that come out of the ketchup bottle when you don’t shake it up
Lol
A+
😂
😂😂😂
🤣👌
Woah true
Ahhh, you two looked so amazing together all dressed up in your formal wear. We have tried and tried to get reservations here for years. Impossible. Thank you for sharing your romantic dinner with us. From one Disney fanatic to another, have a magical day sprinkled with pixie dust! :-)
I also had a difficult time booking Victoria & Albert's. I got better results when I gave them the dates I would be available. They went through each day one by one looking for an opening. They found one and I got to enjoy this very special experience.
Thank you. That is helpful. Have a magical day sprinkled with pixie dust! :-)
I think we booked out three months in advance to get in there for a table of four
We booked six months out from when we wanted to go!
Thank you for the reply. So lucky that you have eaten at this restaurant.
Cheers!
Yes, but that's a bit overboard.
Not worth it.
MyLady22 have you been? I loved it.
$1000 per person? That better come with maid service for a week.
Not sure where OP got $1000 from or if it was just a typo. The Chef's Table starts at $250 per person.
I love how you mentioned that you would never be able to eat here a few years ago and here 11 months ago you got to enjoy it. Now the two of you have a little man on the way!!!
I'm so glad they let you film a little inside. I really enjoyed seeing all of the food. I think you did it in a classy respectful way.
Club 33 Executive platinum membership costs $30,000 per year- and carries a $100,000 initiation fee to be a member....so in comparison, $750 for Victoria & Alberts is a steal!!!
Imagine the good that could be done in the world with that club 33 money (say I as I plan my super expensive -yet not extravagant- WDW trip...lol)
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This would be something I would do!
🏆
At least supersize it...
“And none of this 1960’s stuff gimme the freshest wine you got waiter!”-The Jerk
After eating this dinner, I'd probably have to head to Dennys to eat more LOL!!!!!
It’s a bit of a step up from Andy’s Lunchbox at ToyStory Land.
Hubby looking over my shoulder: $50 for Wagyu beef? That's pretty good for a meal
Me: um no that's on top of the $235 cover charge
Hubby:.....
.......
....we will never go there.
Holy smokes Jen looks amazing ..and Tim very dapper sir.😎
They're literally soul mates if there's such a thing. They look at each other with such respect.
Do they have a video on how they met?
minority86 Yes
Keith Gash look at what? She’s still beautiful, she still looks like Jen. Just without makeup. 🤦🏼♀️
$ 750.00 was an expensive "try it". Thanks for sharing and sparing me the bust in my wallet. ;)
That harp player is beautifully playing “See The Light” from Tangled. I love it
Ok not gonna lie Jenn is flawless in this geeze
You two have nothing to be nervous about. You’re practically Disney Royalty!
When I was five, I went to Disney for the first time. One day we toured the hotels and I vowed that one day I will stay at the Grand Floridian!
Damn Jenn, do a makeup tutorial!! 😍
Her you tube page is all makeup stuff I think
What's her youtube page?
For my family of three we have a tough time staying under $400
You both seem really genuine and sweet. 😄
I’m always coming back to this video. It makes me hungry lol
10:44 When at home I substitute Campbell's Tomato Soup for all my broken tomato water needs!
Aidan Lam except America- the Treaty of Versailles allows Americans to also make “champagne” and call it so. 👌🏼
A5 is almost too tender, you don't really chew, just .. experience
.
Yeah, I don't think I'd be able to hang with the foamy stuff.
You look gorgeous Jen! And you look so dapper Tim!
Jen is always so pretty but she is stunning in this video!
LOVED your review! Humility, awareness of other's experience, and the truth about your experience was absolutely GREAT to watch! Thank you for posting! ( new sub )
thank you for sharing this experience with all of us. I didn't know about this restaurant. the plates looked fabulous.
I would feel bad using the bowl if they placed flowers in it. I was happy with just the napkin.
How much is the chefs table.
TwilightSky15 I haven’t done the chefs table sadly. I think it was closer to 300 person and the wine pairings were another 150 or more. I am guessing someone else on here will know better than I.
I think you paid the price on this one.
Karen Geyman 😂
exactly what my mrs said lol !!!!
Or 5x the price! I prefer a pitcher of beer and a really good pizza whilst I throw my peanut shells on the floor.

Apparently your channel has been around awhile.
You both look fantastic all dressed up! Thank you for showing us this. No way I could afford it.
This is great to watch and all, but I’ll just stick to taco bell and ramen noodles 😂
XD Considering the price tag there yep.
i can eat taco bell for a month
@@SniffThatglue Big spender.
I'll just throw some shorts and a shirt and get the nacho fries box
Yea for me one night out for two people at that place is my rent check the food looked good but in my opinion idk if 700 worth of food was on the plates it’s more like 200 in food and 500 in the atmosphere
This is likely the best restaurant review I have ever experienced. There are three typical types of reviewers; those who know food and are so conceited they think their opinion matters, those who think they know food but really don't, and those who have no taste. You guys obviously have taste, and your review was honsest and well grounded. Bravo!
Thanks for sharing your experience at the place where dreams come true, if your willing to pay. Lol
I love how you took time in between the courses to give your take on the food that was served.
I love the Grand Floridian and a great place to stay.
I agree with Jenn. Too fancy for me. Also WAY too expensive. No dinner is worth $750 !!
Caviar and Dom Perignon
I mean, if Walt Disney was alive, I would pay $750 to eat dinner with him
Expensive depends on the individual.
@@repr26 sure but most people cant afford that. It's my rent money
Holy wow Jenn!!!! Make up woah!
Jen looks flawless ! She always looks nice but I’m loving this glam. Tim looking dapper too ☺️
I just wanted to add, thank you for doing this. It was a bucket list item for me but seeing your experience made me realise how it’s probably too fancy for my palate too. Love you guys so much
Daaaaaamn, James Bond and his hot vixen up in here
I'd say more like Mr. and Mrs. Smith
I watched this while eating hamburger helper. Probably the least fancy thing possible.
I’m in a hotel drinking Coke Zero out of a coffee cup and eating Cheese Pringles.
Karr Trips Respect.
Lol you guys crack me up! 😂 I’m doing Walmart tuna straight outta the can rt now. Keeping it classy
Your comment made me laugh out loud cuz that’s exactly what I’d be doing 😂
I immediately made tuna noodle casserole, just as fitting.
I appreciate the fact that you two shared this expensive endeavor together which made it special!
Plus sharing thoughts & viewing with us fans.
@@NY_7 so don't go?
I LOVEEEEE how you guys look at each other when either one of you talk!! Eye contact 😍
You both look wonderful in your outfits. What a wonderfully romantic meal.
