  • Speculation mounts over the fate of Bukit Batok SMC given PAP’s Murali Pillai’s narrow win in GE2020. SDP Chair Prof Tambyah earlier notes a pattern: constituencies with PAP under 55% vote share tend to be redrawn or vanish, such as Joo Chiat SMC and Cheng San GRC.

    I think Telok Blangah SMC will be back. West Coast will be downgraded from 5 to 4, Chua Chu Kang and Marsiling-Yew Tee will be upgraded to 5.
    Cheng San is split into Aljunied, Ang Mo Kio and Pasir Ris-Punggol. Cheng San GRC is not a suitable name, as Cheng San tends to be just a smaller town.

    PAP is wori losing but batok to SDP chee soon Juan may be not reboundry to make grc that's why they promote Murali Pillai to mos even he is hopeless the pay don't want chee even as a NCMP they can't handle him
