Bally's membership screwed me over so bad. I was literally an hour and a half away from a Bally's when I was in college, and every time I called they said I had to go in to cancel. And everytime I went in they logged it as I came and checked in. And they'd refuse to cancel my membership bc my address was month to month rental. I was so happy when they all closed 😂
Anytime fitness tried to get me to stay and I literally said, listen I didn’t come here to be harassed and for you to beg, I came here to cancel my membership and that’s it. And he stayed quiet and made me sign the paper and was giving me so much attitude. Like I cared. These gyms are out of control when you try to cancel
Pre paid cards is solution for subscriptions. Put like $100 on there and a couple subs. Or subs you want to test out but know you’ll forget about. You don’t want to resign or deal with people, just let it run out.

Cancelling any subscription is a huge pita. You'd think with the internet and technology that you can click your way out of a subscription. Nope. You have to call to talk to someone. They could set up a racket by leaving you on hold in hopes that you'd give up and hang up.
Simply canceling my SiriusXM subscription I had to talk to someone when all it took to sign up was a few clicks of the mouse. Even after telling the customer service guy he pitches an even sweeter deal to keep me hooked.

I have so many paid apps that it's ridiculous, I'm an idiot 🙃 🤣. I need to cancel some, but then I'm afraid as soon as I cancel a good movie will come out that I wanna see. They bank on idiots like me lol.
EOS scammed me last year. I went home for the holidays so I went in looking for a 1 month membership. I legit told them to cancel my membership right away; that I wouldn't be in town next month and they didn't. I got charged twice and on top of that they charged me a $50 yearly fee like wtf. I called and complained and they're like "Sorry we can't do anything about it. It's a random charge we do to keep prices low and it happened to happen this month." I paid $95 for 2 weeks of gym 💀
