I love how hip hop centric this group is. They did 5 different styles in one EP from Rage to Boom Bop to Afrobeat. Props to Kiggen and Yella D.

Their music is hard to hear in kpop girl groups.

True! I do like BM, but I think that YP Producers, and even the girls, understand something that YG just doesn't..... and that's HIPHOP! Where it comes from, what it's supposed to communicate. BM girls are amazing singers, very talented... but Young Posse has that something that reminds me of the girl Version of the Wu Tang Clan of Korea. They feel like a real Crew. Together they just slay!

the production type is what referred to in early 2000s as "soul beats". Earlier work from Kanye used a lot of similar samples, as well as Just Blaze.

There were a lot more grps before XG debuted that had those kind of sound and music but was not popularise... for me XG and YP songs and genres are completely different... YP goes for the hardcore hip hop while also being comical but XG does other genres but has serious concepts

Scars has WAY to much auto tune for me personally, It gave me T-Pain and 2005-2010 flashbacks, XXL ROTY and Sky line will be in my playlist though.
