Agreed. I’d be surprised if they didn’t at least record one song together. With internet access, and the modern technology for recording, they wouldn’t necessarily need to be in the same studio to do it. Basically, two musicians can be thousands of miles away from each other, and still be able to collaborate on one track. Maybe not, and then they were just two ships passing in the night, and we were along for the ride.

I used play bass when I was younger and every time you play with somebody different it only reinforces your experience and you grow as a musician. Well done son. I really enjoyed that. Plunking on an Ibanez as 93 fm semi acoustic into my old age now.

I'm just an amateur drummer who started playing back in the mid 70's, but Steve sure can play some serious bass lines. It's hard to believe that you guys have never jammed together. Steve should be in a band. With that kind of talent it's a crime to not use it more often.

This is the shit. You really gave the bass the presence it needed with the levels. Lots of guitar guys put the bass too far back, but it’s so awesome when it’s up front like this.

I usually hate improv because so few musicians are able to pull it off. You guys killed it!
Simply great! The base-player was amazing, and what-ever it was, it pushed Dovidas into a new flow/rythm which I have not heard from you before which was a new fresh sound! Love this performance from you both!
That is how music was meant to be responsive, you find a groove then branch out. I absolutely suck as a musician but when I'm sitting and noodling and find a groove I can be in it for a half hour, and truthfully that music to me gets me to a place I love. That was musical magic my friends. Loved it!

It's always a risk letting an unknown musician hop up and join your gig. My old bands always had a "no sit-ins" policy for the simple reason that the chance of success was verrrrry slight. There was a greater chance that, for example, a sit-in guitarist would suck so bad that the crowd would lose interest in us for the rest of the gig. Or, the sit-in guitarist would be so smokin' hot that our guitarist would then look shitty by comparison for the rest of the gig. Rarely would anyone sit in and be JUST right to have a perfect result. This here was one of those rare successes. Wow! That was a great jam with two skilled musicians!!
