- Join us as we ride the new Glentress masterplan jump trails. These MTB trails are what Tweed Valley has been waiting for. Opened in October 2023, these are a must ride!
Glentress New Trail Highlights
Trail 1 Twitcher: An epic flat out speed trail with jumps, berms, and tabletops.
Trail 2 Turn & Burn: A fast flowing blue trail with a rollercoaster of berms and small tables.
Trail 3 Smells Like Tweed Spirit: Longer flowing red trail with some steeper tables and fun features.
Trail 4 Tower Black: Push your limits with challenging jumps and steep lips! Most jumps rollable with a couple of mandatory small drops.
We capture footage from each new MTB trail on Go Pro as we navigate the jumps and various flow sections, all in a bikepark style. Excellent stuff! was there a couple of days ago was great fun, fast flow with table tops jumps(which I can't sent properly but still good fun) haven't tried the blacks yet will explore another time. Not sure but might have actually seen you both at the bottom of the new trails, thanks for sharing 😁🤙

Can I ask which camera would you say is best for Mtb ?
thanks! From our experience, Go Pro. Tried an Insta 360 but it was really bulky and more work to edit footage. Also not easy to protect the screens on them. Any Go Pro from Hero 9 or 10 upwards is ideal and you have loads of mounting options

Thanks! It’s a fireroad climb and not steep but still got a bit of length to it to get to the very top. You can also loop the lower ones which is much shorter!
