Wonderful socks & cushion is delightful. How wonderful to see your own designs on such pretty fabrics. Such a joy watching these episodes.
That little cushion is just beautiful. Anybody can see it's designed and made with love. Thank you Katie.
I love your aesthetic and can share in your love of nature and art. My deceased husband wrote a children's novel forty years ago that I just recently illustrated and self published for our five grown children and six grandchildren. I understand the satisfaction of seeing the work of your own hands "come alive". Continue on with your beautiful work, both on paper and in fiber!
Your podcast always seems to pop up in my feed right when I need some quiet creative soul-food, thanks for being you 💚
I have really enjoyed watching these first twelve episodes of your podcast. Now I’m going forward in time to your recent episodes, but will also continue watching the earlier ones as well. Each one is so unique and enjoyable and indeed, engaging. Thank you! From Katie in Maine USA, a person who loves to knit, paint and draw🧶✏️
Just love your podcast, so soothing and yet also inspiring. I would love to see a “day in the life” format to see how you manage your creativity & daily life. Thank you for taking the time to share your beautiful work and time. 🦋
Oh Katie you are a treasure! I'm so glad you share your creativity with all of us. Everything you create is so thoughtfully laid out, especially your podcast. Thank you!
Lady you are the most relaxing person I've seen in a long time. I didnt know how restless my soul was until i found your channel by mistake.
Congrats on your 1 year anniversary of your podcast, even though I'm watching 2 years later. Still catching up on your lovely podcast. Lovely sock pattern and oyster catcher cushion. Love the beach scenery too.
I’ve really enjoyed finding you and catching up. I’ve been watching these lovely vlogs after finding your latest episode (August 2022) earlier this week. Your multi talented self is a joy and I’m glad the CZcams algorithm brought you to my attention. Look forward to catching up and adding to my stack of lovely new projects. Thank you for putting these out there and sharing your amazing talent. All the best, Bernadette
Thank you so much, Bernadette! So glad you found your way here :)
I so love all of your work! Thank you, Katie Green! You are awesome! ❤️👏🏼🐑🐑🐑👏🏼❤️
The photography and editing for your podcast is just wonderful. Kudos to whomever does that for you.
The colors in the oyster catcher cover looked like they were created right there on the seashore. Just gorgeous! Whomever gets that as a gift is surely a fortunate person.
Thank you for another podcast. I love them.
Hello, Katie)) Just wanted to say: Thank you for your podcast! Watching and listening to you has been very inspiring. I started knitting recently and found you through other knitters. But it is watching you, I decided to give a try to some sewing 😃 My friends and relatives think I’m a little crazy when I talk about production of my own cloth and trying to refuse excessive buying the ones manufactured 😅 This year I am the one “sad about not going to the festival”, hope I’ll manage to next year.
A quiet everyday busy morning in your Company is so nice and i Thank you for sharing all your creative things. 💚
This podcast gives so much, inspiration, calm, thoughtfulness. Thanks for doing this!
Katie you are so lovely and I always enjoy catching up with you! I am watching you from my living room in Tokyo, Japan. It is early morning, I have a mug of apple cider vinegar with a dollop of honey and my Blacker Yarns Gotland wool hap blanket over my knees. I am knitting on a pair of Horseshoe Socks from Emily Foden's Knits About Winter book. What a morning! Have a great week.
Hi Katie, after watching your podcast my heart is so much lighter. You the world a better place for me. Thank you ❤️🇨🇦❤️
Wishing you a very happy first podcast anniversary!!! Thank you so much for creating these lovely and beautiful episodes, it's such a treat watching and "spending" some time with you and Jack!
Happy anniversary!! It’s been such a gift to be able to meet you, Jack and your wonderful art, drawing, sewing, embroidery, knitting.... Thanks for a lovely time and see you soon. All the best for EYF
Hello Katie and handsome Jack! I love every podcast. Each one is a work of art in and of itself. I enjoy the nature walks so much, as well as your art and sewing. knitting, and embroidery - all things I love to do. I am so looking forward to obtaining a copy of your zine and sheep poster as well from your etsy shop, and would be terribly disappointed to miss out. You are such a wonderful and special person, I am so happy to be a faithful admirer. All the best wishes for the yarn festival. Love from Shari Witt in Kentucky
Your podcasts are always such soothing balm to my anxious soul...thank you Katie💕
Katie, Happy Anniversary on your one year podcast. Love watching you draw and yours and Jacks walks through the countryside. I’m a crocheter and have not learned how to knit yet but appreciate your knitting and sewing skills. Keep up the great creativity and podcasting❤️.
I really love your podcasts and find them both relaxing and inspiring. Your cushion is glorious. Thanks for sharing. x
Glad to hear the illustrations will be available on your Etsy shop
I have watched you from the start love your honesty normality your crafts your podcasts all the thanks are yours x
WoW! I loved this episode. I live by the ocean so I especially loved your beautiful socks, project bag with shell embroidery and shell fabric. I can totally relate to sewing vs. knitting. I wish I was sewing more but knitting is SOOO addictive. Jack is the PERFECT dog! I don't do social media but I am gonnaknit on Rav. Your new sock pattern is gorgeous!
Another great podcast. What a stunning beach . The music and feel of the photography is lovely
You are just incredible! Love everything you do
Lovely, lovely, lovely podcast. I enjoyed being at the beach with you and seeing your making and drawing. Never doubt your abilities Katie. All the best with your zine and EYF. Music was especially beautiful. Thank you.

What a lovely episode, thank you for taking us to the beach. The sock pattern is wonderful and the sewing projects are fabulous too. Very excited for the new GB zine. Jack seems to be really getting into being a podcast star ...BTW I'm not just in it for him ;)
Ooooo, boy do I ever wish I was in your family and have a chance at the precious cushion! 🌸🐾🐾🐾🇨🇦
thanks Katie, very cool.
Hi Katie, I am happy that I discover you by listen to some Eindenburg yarn festival vlog. I check the composition of the water soluble fabric and it made of polyvinyl alcohol fibers, it's suppose to be biodegradable but their is not much info on is effect on the environment. Sending you a lot of love.
A truly lovely episode. Thank you so much for taking the time and energy to create such fantastic content. The music is calm and soothing and it’s all just so enjoyable to watch.
Thank you Katie for another wonderful, beautiful and lovely podcast. I am so happy you are doing so well.
Happy first podcast anniversary. Another wonderful podcast. I really enjoy you taking us on walks and watching you work on your beautiful artwork.

Congratulations on the new issue of the Green Bean!
It's always a great pleasure to watch your podcast !
You and Jack are a delight to join. I think your socks will be my first attempt at colour work socks - they are beautiful 💕as are your other designs .
I enjoy your creativity, lovely walks and scenery and of course Jack. Happy year Anniversary.
My daughter is a marine science college student an a very passionate person about the sea and all its creatures. She would love to have this issue of the "Green bean". I'll follow you on Instagram to get your news. Your blog is so enjoyable and relaxing, thanks, Katie!
I just love your podcasts . I have been so jealous of your talent , which is amazing. I hope that you have many more years doing this .
Your pop up shop was one of the highlights of EYF for me. I love wearing my Scottish Blackface Sheep pin and my copies of the two publications.
Such a delight to see you again!! Thank you for sharing about your cookbook candidly and as well about your zine!! All the best at eyf!! I suspect you will do very well!! 💕 From 🇨🇦
Last time I was in Scotland I took an extra suitcase so I could bring home yarn. I picked up enough yarn from the mill in New Lanark to make a blanket (and my daughter a sweater...we are both knitters). I love buying local yarns when I travel! And Scotland has some lovely yarn!
Always like to see what you are up to. You give me inspiration to continue doing what I do. Thanks.
Happy Anniversary on your podcast. Thank you for such a relaxing peaceful hour. You inspire me to do more.......
Friend of mine recomended your podcast and I watched all your previous episodes. I really love your style of making and sharing things! Thank you for such an inspiring podcast! Greetings from Finland.

Happy 1st Anniversary! Always enjoy your podcasts, keep up your wonderful work. Devon beach looks so lovely and peaceful.
I live in northern New England, have grown up around tidal pools and they are one of my favorite places to walk to this day.
Thank you for another great episode. I enjoy all its facets.
Congratulations on your podiversary - I always look forward to a new episode. The new Zine issue sounds really good hope it goes well at Edinburgh but please bring some back for the Etsy shop!
Loved the podcast - so many wonderful creative avenues and I enjoyed them all. Linda is right - your podcast is like creative soul-food.
Happy one year anniversary, I always enjoy your podcasts!
Would love to know where that beautiful pebble beach is? Enjoy your podcasts very much! So inspiring and relaxing!
Oh my goodness, how gorgeous are your cockle socks!! So beautiful. Hello from just over the Tamar ;-)

Thank you for Katie for another wonderful podcast.
I very much enjoyed your podcast! Thank you for sharing your time!
Thanks Katie (and Jack!), I find your podcast so soothing and inspiring at the same time. I cannot wait for your zine to come out! Great job
An absolute delightful podcast as always. Inspiring and relaxing and beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you so very much for your podcast Katie! It has given me many sort of intangible gifts that bring a soulful richness to my life. I will hope to get one of your Green Bean zines after the Edinburgh festival. As it is not possible for me to go, I love to hear and see everyone's experiences and the yarnie treasures they bring home. Keep us posted on how the festival goes from the perspective of your pop-up shop. The shots on the beach with Jack are lovely. Wishing you all the best till next time. Hugs to Jack.
I loved this podcast. It is such a joy to watch you make art and visit beautiful places. It's so relaxing to hear you speak about what you are doing. I am inordinately excited about getting the new Green Bean Zine and the old issues. I'm going to try to make all the things. :) I've also been daydreaming about your sheep breeds poster. Day dreaming of knitting or making something with fleece from all the breeds. I am so happy it will be available to purchase on Etsy. Thanks so much for it all. A labour of love to be sure.
Thanks Katie (and Jack ;) for a great first year.
Hurrah for a whole year of the Green Bean Podcast! I’ve enjoyed watching every episode, thank you 😊 I don’t remember seeing the jumper you were wearing before, what pattern is it? The wool is exquisite!
Excited to hear that the Green Bean will be available via Etsy, I can’t wait to get a couple of copies...have you considered accepting preorders at all? All the best for EYF, I’m sure your wares will go down a storm 👍🏻
So enjoyable and relaxing! Thank you!
Thank-you for sharing yourself with us again! I really enjoy your podcast. I also love Jack's brown ears, definitely kissable!
Wow! Katie! What an awesome project bag, please make and sell a few😀
I have only watched a few minutes, but I think I've never seen you smile so much! :)
Lovely podcast Katie. I hope I get to buy a copy of your new Zine, it looks terrific. The sock pattern is gorgeous!
Beautiful cushion worth the time doing it
Wonderful podcast thank you. You are very talented.
I just discovered your podcast and am excited. I too knit, sew and draw. However I have cat companions rather than a dog. It looks like fabric stacked along your wall? Well we have this in common too. My cottage is tiny and I too have fabric stacked in bins up my walls. Half of my closet is dedicated to hanging fabric ready to be made up into clothes. I'm a beginner at knitting and still new at drawing but feel accomplished at sewing. LOL I also am in the process of writing my first zine. As an herbalist I want to encourage no till gardening and spread the word of the amazing medicinal value of weeds. There is a lot of highly nutritional food in our own back yards.
Jack is darling, what breed is he? I love his intense glare at wherever he's looking at, his gaze is steady and full of wisdom.
You live in such a beautiful area.
Did you find 'Whatcha Mean, What's a Zine?' a helpful read? I wrote a first copy of my zine and it was terribly boring. I thought if one was passionate enough about a topic the end product would come naturally. Not.
I'm curious about your set-up. Does someone else video tape you? Do you have two cameras, one for closeup shots?
Those are beautiful socks! You mentioned it will be in the Green Bean. Do you mean the pattern will be in the Green Bean? And the pillow design is lovely as well. I'm feeling really inspired!
FYI, I would love to see a tour of your work/creation room
You and Jack both! 😁Congratulations on one year.. looking forward to many more X
Thanks for another lovely episode Katie, I'm really looking forward to your zine!
Your designs are beautiful and the podcast was wonderful as always. Looking forward to your zine release.
🥰💕Great Podcast! Was soooo looking forward to it. 🍀🍀🍀🍀Great resources on today’s podcast. Good luck in Edinburg have a blast. Wish I was going. 🥰💕🧶🧵👍👍🍀
Such a lovely podcast! You are such an inspiration to me as an artist and creator. 💕
As always, a beautiful episode from start to finish with both you and Jack ;) Really looking forward to your lovely new issue of the Green Bean zine! Have a happy trip to EYF x o
I love your sock design. So pretty!
You popped up albeit haltingly because of glitchy wifi but when is the gift of the neighbor... just as was butchering kitchenering a sock.. why is it I can do it 8 times perfectly then botch it so now? Think may use the technique you mentioned on second sock after all is just to be worn. Enjoyed the seashore and validation on Spoonflower as found it years ago but had heard no recommendations. also glad to hear about your self pub experience as joined a writer's group where the leader is aggressively pushing getting an agent to go traditional pub and I just don't want to add another layer of potential graft and confusion. You have given me the courage to just plunge into the roiling surf of uncertainty on a few things. Good luck on the zine.
I love your podcast so much!!!💕💕💕
Hi Katie hi Jack happy anniversary love your podcasts and that beach x
Hi Katie. Congratulations, one year podcasts! I follow you from the beginning and I love them all 👍🏼.
The diverse segments make it so pleasant to watch. I hope many more will follow.
And then another congratulations; you have done it, your Zine is finished! What a special feeling that must be after so much work and quite a long time 😉.
The cushion is looking gorcious, what a beautiful embroidery and that red zipper, so well chosen.
Perhaps you can place the cushion on a shelf or something else a bit higher so dear Jack can't reach it? That way you can enjoy it yourself before you give it away.
The shellbag is beautiful; the embroiderypart and your own designed fabric make it extra special. By the way, do you know Anna from Dunkelgrun podcast? She made some designs with Spoonflower as well.
I love the footage of Jack and you on the beach, but of those naked feet in the water...you deardevil 😁.
Thank you again for sharing and wishing you joy in everything you do, Marjan 🌷
May I ask, what's in all of the drawers to your right?
Hi Katie! Thanks for the lovely podcast!
Seeing you knit, one would never guess that socks are problematic in any way to you. Clearly, you are not lacking the skill or confidence to do them, so I am guessing that it's just "dislike"? Because the finished socks are beautiful, and the cushion also!
I love Jack - he is such a sweet little soul.
Your podcast is so wonderfully peaceful and your talent is amazing. Please give a pat to sweet Jack for me .
I’m always glad to see a new podcast from you. I so enjoy the ambiance you create. But I was surprised you waded in the water this time of year.. was the water freezing?
I had to kind of chuckle, when you noted that some of the artwork in previous issues of the GreenBean, might have been improved upon. As a non-artist....I'm pretty sure, I and other regular readers, would think your drawings were fantastic!
The socks are lovely I have never tried knitting socks my be some day the music is lovely
