Man if there's ONE good thing that came out of 2020 and was cemented once again, it's that
Speedy J came out and reclaimed the Techno throne from the entire world. This man is untouchable in terms of versatility, improvisation, groove, technicality, all of the above. He is still as powerful as he was in the 90's or early 2000's, even after decades of changes in the scene, sound, what's hot and what's not. Speedy J is truly a force to be reckoned with and I feel extremely lucky to have shared my time on this Earth with such a presence. What a faascinating human.

Untouchable? I've heard a dozen Richie Hawtin sets that beg to differ. And Derrick May. And HMC. And Rush. This set was OK. Solid 7

About 17 years ago, Speedy J and Chris Liebing played together in Melbourne for very first time in front of only couple of hundred people as techno scene in Melbourne was very small back then. However, of corse they played solid techno set and when the show was over we had a time to have a chat with him and he was saying to everyone.

Saw him playing different times, an all night long is what I remember best. 5 hours of pure madness. Kick was coming and going... The ride too... Atmosphere was sweaty and really hot...

Amazing track. Frikkin 24 years old techno banger. What a legend to insert this in a contemporary mix like this. It reminds me of a mix a heard from Perc when he played Jark Prongo: Movin Thru Your System, I think in 2014. What a flash that was!!! :D
