With these planets the turns will play out in real time, 1 year in game = 1 year in real life
These could make for some challenging, epic-scale playthroughs. The largest confirmed-rocky exoplanet that has been found is quite like the planet pictured at 8:52 in terms of radius, gravity and star type, but its orbit is so incredibly tight around the star that it receives about 2,500,033 W/m². Imagine the solar power. Just...bring sunscreen.🌶
Sunscreen? More like a habitat with some insane HVAC.
At those temperatures the only "suncreen" you can use is ablative shielding, hahahahhaha
Large Colossus: "And this it go, even further beyond!"
- CPU starts screaming...
This definitely seems like an excellent way to have enough time to play and use every single technology...
Wow, that's big. Might have to wait till I update my 7+ year old computer before I try. PS - sounds like you have a cold or sore throat, hope you're feeling OK!
I would give so much for a non random planet creation
Just keep getting better…..
I love it. Cant wait for some truly epic games on the colossus planets!
HIGHFLEET HERE WE COME!!!!!
Seems like things are being set up for the potential of gas giants...which would be a cool as fuck dynamic to play on but probably horribly difficult.
How the hell would even be possible to colonize a gas giant? The whole idea of humans living in its surface and having tanks, motorcycles, etc there is quite hillarious.
@@edersonnico Who said anything about living on the surface?

It would make sense for a space based game. I can imagine living in its orbit, we would have access to only its gasses and possibly energy. Things like soil/food, metals/building materials and breathable air would need to be imported from other worlds.
@@edersonnico Not rly. Initially, yes. But it could easily be made self sustaining. Watch Issac Arthur.
Summary: "Bigger planets are big. And bigger than smaller ones"
It crashes when trying to add zones after creation
