If you were fortunate to watch Kaka between 2004-2011, this video should hit at the heartstrings. There was no way you watched him and didn't feel some type of joy or excitement. It hurts knowing certain players will never be replicated! Glad i had him as one of heroes growing up

On the boots This is just me I feel that older boots just have something special about them especially when they’re released on 2-3 year cycles plus you already have the set of colors. Nowadays you have a new color pack every month or in worse cases every 2-3 weeks
facts! there's nothing special about cleats nowadays. these companies don't give time for the cleats to have a life of their own. like you said, there's a new colorway/model coming out every month. there's no stories being told on the pitch at all.

The last proper season in football boots for example I only had memories now maybe the 20/21 season when Bruno Fernandes was wrecking havoc with his Mercurial Vapor 13 MDS003.

I never forget when I got my first Predators . I'd wear them and think of Kaká (and ZZ and Beckham) before the match . I'd feel like a pro about to start a CL game. Beautiful days when watching these monsters on the pitch meant a lot.

The boots are more special when they're released annually. Nowadays you get new colours every month.
It’s one of the reasons why I feel boots these days don’t have that specialness or charm that older boots have. Back then once the boots are released,you’re set with those already released colorways and you have players wearing the same boots with different colors. Boots these days just feel quite overwhelmingly saturated given we have color pack drops every few months sometimes weeks. What’s so annoying is you’ll have multiple players wearing the same color and boots

Kaka was such an amazing player, i remember very well how gracious he played and how he skipped through the defenders with the ball until the scoring area and sometimes he'd pass, sometimes he'd score it himself. A very, very underated player for a long time but did everything right and his career speaks for itself, a Ballon D'Or winner will never be a simple player.
Those old school predators look so beautiful... They look like a trophy you can wear! Glad they brought the tongue back, but still they need to make the new stripes design like the old school ones!

a couple of years ago I bought a new pair of boots for the first time in 10+ years, and I was shocked, I couldn't even get my feet in them, boots now are being made so narrow you literally can't get in them unless you have pencils for feet and are wearing 1 pair of thin socks...

Kaka’s redemption arc in 2007 is phenomenal. Getting the opportunity to play Liverpool again in the Champions League Final. He had a fantastic season that year, top class player and legend 🇧🇷🏆⚽️
if it wasn't for the constant injuries and the mistreatment by Mourinho he would have broken so many records. But still, there's no player that plays with such speed, flair , elegance, agility and accuracy . we could go on and on about Kaka the special breed of player.

Predator Mania was legitimately good, as it had very little plastic around the ankles and back, with exception of the heel counter. The Pulse was a step-down because the instep was the hard plastic stripes in place of cushioned leather. Every model after that got worse, IMO, until this new 2024 model.
