TIL, BMW's characteristic orange-red hue is generated by light at a wavelength of 605 nanometers. The color was chosen to allow the driver to clearly see the instrument cluster, but also to be able to adjust to the darkness outside the vehicle quickly after looking up. The eye doesn't tire as quickly trying to read gauges illuminated with red-orange light, he said. BMW discovered this in the 1970s, and it's been both an aesthetic trademark and a conscious ergonomic decision ever since.

Actually I'm a fan of both merc and Bmw..,630D : it's fabulous one ,Will own one soon.. Competitor is Merc E class it's +in luxury,BMW is +in sporty...so 630D❤️.
Two brands have their own unique selling points bro. For comfort and luxury you can go for the E class , if you love to drive then it would be the BMW any day 😊

Nice video! You mentioned it's disappointing that there's no seat ventilation - I've got the 2017 edition of the 6GT and it does have that! But you have to know it's a feature you have to order, it's not involved with the comfort seats unfortunately.
Thank you 😊. In India we do not have the option to customize 😔. Hence we have to settle with what is being offered. None of the cars in BMW's portfolio has ventilated seats in India . A cost cutting strategy may be.

yeah, you are right. They don't give many things in India which is available outside. Its quite disappointing like you said :( . Not just the BMW, most of the car makers does that here :( .

Thanks. I am gonna blackout the exhaust. I did not like the chrome treatment anywhere. IMO black suits the car with the Bernina Grey.
I drive a g30 530d, the only thing I miss from 6GT is better ground clearance and higher seating position.
Yes. Also the interior space and boot space. And if you like a quirky design then 6 GT is an option :)
@@ratchet1153 I always preferred a sporty sedan back end than an uplifted one.6GT bootspace maybe more but the spare tyre eats up more than half where in 5 it's tucked underneath. Neways happy kms.

To give you a crisp idea, I had the itch to go with the OEM products hence bought it. It cost approx 45k , there are way cheaper alternatives but this does the job for me and pretty neat installation done by BMW.

I have managed to clock 15kmpl in the Eco Pro mode .Normally it shows 13-14 kmpl for my driving style . I have not checked the mileage after the first service. Will be doing that soon. And also if you have availed service package then you don't have to pay anything for your service. I will be doing a detailed video on the service and the service packages .
hey can 3 people seat in the rear seat comfortably ?
Hey bro, there is no issue with the shoulder room for 3 people but the seats are designed in such a way that only 2 can sit comfortably. And also the huge centre tunnel makes it difficult for the person in the middle. Short journeys are fine.
@@ratchet1153 can you tell what the problem is then ? the car is wide so the shoulder line would be a lot but people say its not for 3 people in the rear ?
That's right, the rear seats are designed for 2 people . The center portion of the seat is a hump which is uncomfortable to sit along with huge center tunnel because of the rear wheel drive system. Like I said, for kids it's fine but for adults short distance travels are okay.
Does it have ventilated seats?
No bro. Unfortunately it does not. That's one negative I had mentioned in the video.

No it does not . I had mentioned that in the shortcomings towards the end of the video . Hope you watched it till the end 🙂
It should be available with seat ventilation, would be odd if not. But you have to order it, it's not a basic feature of the comfort seats. (You could even get a massage function as well!)

No 360 degree camera or HUD in current lot of 630d (Dec 22). Don't know what BMW was thinking while removing these features
True bro.. HUD got removed couple of years back itself. And no 360 degree cam is really bad. That's one feature which is really handy in my experience using such a big car. They give chip shortage as the reason to do these cost cuttings .

Yes, I have permanent address and by sorting out I mean paying the tax if you are planning to stay permanently somewhere else. There is a specified period beyond which you cannot use your vehicle outside the state.

Emi depends totally on the loan amount bro . So if your loan amount is high the emi will be high . The emi will be low if you have made a good Down-payment and availed very less loan amount.

Yes the AC is really efficient and powerful. It's able to cool the interiors very fast . And also since there is a display key for the car , there is a pre conditioning feature in that which you can set to cool the cabin before you get in to the car. I will be doing a detailed video of the display key and features soon.
