the music visualiser aspect really sold me on this, i mean come on, it just looks so cool
Yeah it’s a really cool feature, previously you had to buy a separate controller unit to have this function. I’m glad they integrated it all together for this version!

I got Hexs, lil Tri, and big Tris, and my set up is amazing and works great. My only gripe is the only preset thaT WORKS WITH MUSIC WELL, IS THE HIP HOP PRESET AND THAT HAS A FIXED COLOR SCHEME. wISH i COULD CHANGE THE COLORS, BUT THE LIGHTS ACTUALLY LIGHT UP WITH THE MUSIC RHYTHM. Great buy. You will not be disappointed. Tape will peel paint off walls. Just a heads up

They are hexagons, but with round corners which kind of defeats the purpose of a hexagon to me. I would have preferred the shape to be completely covered by the light.

It's an air diffuser, it dispenses vapor with nice smells :)

Hi Shawn, great review! May I know are you using iPhone? The Android layout assistant does not really have the abilities to combine different shapes together, at least I cannot find from my app..

How does it behave when connected to a switch controlled power plug?
Let’s say I turn it on, set the colors/pattern then switch off.
When I switch it on: Will it light on? Will I have to set the pattern again? Will I have to use the controller?

I have both the old and these Shapes but I preferred the old ones because it looks much more like the hexagons. The shape hexagon looked like a round circles
Yes the older one had a more "Techy" look cause of the straighter edges, the curved ones may not suit everyone :)
@@ShawnKoh however, I love the ease of install / removal of the shapes and I've found using PC or Mac app for your computers has a much better connections and install. I've found using "screen mirror" for gaming and "Rhythm" for music listening and that's all I needed.

Nothing but connection issues for me with the hex’s
When they work they are great but at the min I’m going through support trying to get this resolved so at the moment I’ve just got them set to the colours I did when they was connected
Had them over a week and only managed a connection twice
Yes I agree that there are some connection issues as well. Its super annoying....but well lets hope they improve the firmware.

Can I use it as main light? Because my room in my ceiling I don’t have nothing of light 😂… I wanna buy the strips (2) and this one (10) in total is almost 2100 dlls 🥲, but first I want to know if it worth it.. please send an answer 🥺

Okay so personally, the number of panels I have is enough for an evening light for simple tasks. I wouldn't say its sufficient to light up an entire room, after all these are display lights and are meant to add color and vibrancy to your space. It wasn't design to fill a room.
I would not advise solely relying on these panels to light your room :)

but do i really need to use these tapes for wall mount ? isn't it possible to use screws instead of the tape ?
If you look at 1:42 , you can see 2 screw holes on the mounting plate. You can use those to drill into the walls with screws and mount them.
